Great place to go for nature walks. See the salmon run and in the summer it is so peaceful and beautiful. You can sit on a bench to watch the sun set. You can also walk to old orchard park and have a picnic or bbq and go swimming. Awesome place for families

Best to visit Saturday mornings between 9 and 11am. Visitors are welcome to drop in anytime to learn about the life cycle of coho and Chum salmon. Depending on the season, there could be eggs, fingerlings (juvenile salmon) or adults to be seen. Water quality testing on Saturday mornings. New volunteers always welcome. Annual environmental event, the Fingerling Festival, is held the first Saturday of each May. This event has been running for 25+ years and is one of the largest of its kind in Greater Vancouver.

This place is so beautiful and feels a bit secluded but it isn't.
