Nobi Nobi

Small restaurant with about 6 tables. They were able to accommodate us as a table of 6. They have 6 different sets of meals. You order at the counter first and they bring the food out to your table. The food was decent. It’s nice they come with a variety of side dishes. The meal was $16. I also ordered the mango or passion fruit soda and it was pretty good.

We had a Beef Course, a Foie Gras Course, and a Chicken Karaage. The Beef Course and the Chicken Karaage was good. but my Foie Gras Course only fine, the chicken in the meal was a bit over crunchy for me, seems like a little bit of over-cooked on the skin, and little bit dry for the chicken. Service is good, the restaurant is a "pay before you eat" restaurant, just like some of the ramen restaurant in Japan. You the basic service, like bring out your meal, and water/tea refill etc. Don't expect the service like the fine dinning restaurant. Food is not bad at all, we will visit again!

Great food, great food, great food! Small little joint in Ironwood plaza. Small menu but everything is super tasty. This restaurant is definitely a labour of love as the portions are way too large for what they're charging. It is a set menu restaurant, all you do is choose the protein and they'll bring it out to you. Very good service as well. Everyone is super friendly

The Foie Gras set was delicious. The bowls the food came in were pretty cute too. It came with sides of eggplant, fried tofu, pickled carrot and radish, cabbage salad, and miso soup. The foie Gras was rich and creamy. Loved the variety of foods included with the set. The mango soda was refreshing too and not too sweet. I like the cute happy music playing in the background of the restaurant. Would come back

Simple place with good food. Cozy & Modern, and staff was attentive as well. You order and pay at the counter, grab a seat, and the staff will bring your meal to you. Loads of parking as it is located inside a large plaza. The soba was pretty good my first time trying cold soba. There’s 4 fresh pieces of uni on top which I think is a pretty good deal for $17. I would recommend ordering a side of karaage or side dish in general as the soba can be on the bland side, although there is a dipping sauce. It also comes with this perfect onsen egg which was a nice touch. Chicken Karaage was impressive – large, juicy pieces & well marinated. Soda was quite refreshing as well, without being too sweet. Nobi Nobi is a cute place to grab some Japanese food in Richmond! They have lots of course meals to pick from, so everyone should be able to find something they’ll like. The presentation of the meals is very nice, and the staff are quite friendly. I found the taste of the food to be alright. Not a place to head to if you’re looking for mouthwatering cuisine, but as a cute restaurant, it does a good job.

Awesome cozy modern Japanese diner with great service and lovely food. The atmosphere is clean and simple, and the prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity I absolutely loved the foie gras meal. I would definitely return to have it again tried both their mango soda and strawberry soda which were both very sweet and refreshing but a tad overpriced at $5.50 They also have a loyalty program Parking is very easy here. They accept all common forms of payment

A cozy eatery with delicious food and immaculate service. We had a lovely time! My foie gras set was flavourful and rich, and my partner enjoyed the BC uni soba noodles!

Cute little place for Japanese set meals. It's got a bit of a homey feel to it and the friends I went with all enjoyed their meal. I've tried the unagi set and the beef set and I have to recommend the beef. Your meal comes with a few side dishes and miso soup too!

My father and I came here for lunch. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. Small menu which consists mostly of bento style meals. I ordered the udon with pork and tempura with vegetable croquette. The broth was so flavorful and the pork was tender and fatty, which is a great thing, cuz pork fat is life!! The udon noodles were perfectly al dente with a nice chew. The soup was nice and hot. The shrimp tempura was good and the croquette was cooked nicely and quite crunchy. It came with two sauces in the same plate. Oh btw, the server/cashier was so friendly, courteous and professional. I will most definitely be back with my family to share the goodness.
