Pepper Lunch

Great lunch spot, it's quick and delicious. The service was very good and everyone was super friendly. I tried the Wagyu Beef bowl, great flavors and really good quality. Took be back to my time in Japan. Highly recommend for those that haven't been. The trick is to mix everything up. That way you get a nice sear on everything.

First time at a Pepper lunch! It was quite good and the staff were so friendly! They were kind to explain the sauces to me. I wish I could tip them after the food, but you pay upfront, they seat you and then bring the food to you. The curry was spicy as expected and good “runniness”. It was delicious with the rice. The Wagyu Beef didn’t taste anything different from what I tasted with normal beef but I will have to try the normal beef plate. The plates came piping hot but the corn on top was cold, which I would have liked warm! So I dropped them on my hot plate immediately. Overall, super yummy, fast and convenient with great staff at this location. The only thing I felt that was off, was the price for what you received. I’ll be back once in awhile when my wallet looks fat :

The food is delicious ! And the staff is so nice and attentive. Our orders also came very quickly. Also the place is simple and very clean. Definitely worth the visit

Great place for lunch. The food is sizzling and tasty. We really miss the Vancouver location so much we came to Richmond to taste it again!

We ordered two dishes, one of which was served way earlier than the other. And then out of the blue a rice bowl with corn kernels on top was served, which we didn't know it comes with my dish because they served our foods separately. I guess a set menu should be served together and foods ordered by one table should be served at the same time too. My scallop pasta had no veggies at all, which cost me as much as 28 bucks.

I dined here because it was listed on the Richmond Dumpling Trail. But they don't serve dumplings! Seems like a place for a nice quick lunch- service was fast. But it wasn't very interesting. Just various types of hot pot. And the poutine had shredded cheese, not curds!Food: 3/5

Always so good, and each location is consistent with others. Beef w/rice and egg is my personal favourite. Their portion of meat has decreased recently, but their prices are very reasonable so can’t really complain!

Delicious plate. Got the wagyu it was a little thin didn't notice the meat quality. Gotta flip them and stir quick not to overcook but overall good tastes and good experienceFood: 4/5

We had Pepper Lunch all the time in Japan when living there and miss eating it! When I saw one was in Vancouver I was so excited! The food tasted exactly like I remember! It was delicious!! My daughter unfortunately did burn her hand a little when mixing her rice. I asked for ice and told them she touched the skillet on accident. They brought her an ice pack wrapped in a towel and some ointment for the burn. They were amazing! We went back the next day for lunch! We will definitely return here when visiting Canada.

Great food is really good if you came for lunch. However, the service was horrible and just ugly. The girl was from a high school I am not going to specify because I know was really rude to us and gave us a stare. How it went was that my brother had a nut allergy, and we mentioned that a couple of times before ordering. We've been there a few times and it's always great, when the food arrived we asked if there were nuts in the meal and the guy said yes. Later, he told the girl that she didn't specify. Without a reason, the girl didn't even come and apologize she left the building without a break time and came when we left. Disgraceful....
