The sushi has a decent flavor unfortunately there is next to no filling in the roles what I mean is there's pretty much no seafood in it. Had been wanting to try this place for quite a while unfortunately I don't think I will be returning.
We have been looking for good sushi in Kamloops since we moved from a larger city over a year ago, and after trying 3 or so other places that we didn't like we had almost given up. Well we were craving sushi tonight and decided to try Nishino and finally we were pleasantly surprised! The sushi was fantastic. Everything was fresh, rice was super fluffy. Special rolls were great, would especially recommend the Crazy Boy and Westsyde rolls. Will definitely be ordering again.
Food is always fantastic and is done fast. Awesome and friendly customer service. I like the dine in experience too. My go to sushi place while home love that it's less than 5 mins from my place. Definitely recommend this place! Kid-friendliness: They were nice and talked to my one year old, which made him very happy Wheelchair accessibility: No wheelchair ramp
Ordered take out while visiting family. It didn't set off any fireworks, but for wasn't bad. I would eat it again, if in the area. The only thing I didn't care for was the chicken in my kids bento box, her and I thought it had a weird texture, could just be us though.Food: 4/5
As a Westsyde kid, this is hands down my favourite little sushi spot in town. Takes me back to high school and a lot of great meals shared with friends. Delicious, fresh food & lovely staff that never disappoint.
So glad they are open - new ownership is awesome!! Easily the best sushi I've ate in Kamloops in years!
After researching a place to eat in Kamloops on a trip from Salmon Arm I was confused about their hours. Google said 12-8, this website says 11:30 - 8, their own website says 3-8, so I sent them a message asking if they were open for lunch on Sunday. Their reply said "yes, we are open on Sunday". Couldn't be bothered to tell me the hours so I phoned and said "are you open for lunch on Sunday?" A man said "yes we are for lunch on Sunday." We drove out there Sunday Sept. 11 only to find them closed with a sign saying open 3-8. I can't say anything about their food and I never will be able to because I will never try them again. Place looks like a dump from the outside btw. Sooooo..... we went to Bluetail Sushi in Kamloops and had a fantastic lunch.
We ordered all kinds of rolls from Nishino Sushi and they were all delicious and so fresh. The menu has a lot of options to choose from so you can always try something new. The staff were really accommodating and gave us great service. Thank you Nishino Sushi! We will definitely be coming back again.
Good Sushi for a decent price. Staff are friendly and accommodating, great place to stop forna roll if you're in Westsyde Kamloops.
Have eaten here twice: the first time was ok but not great, so we thought we'd give it another shot in case that was just an off day. The second time was worse. The scallop roll and the tempura veggie & prawn combo were decent but nothing special. The edamame was overcooked - soggy and tasted like boiled cabbage. The avocado in the other rolls was very under-ripe and chewy... almost crunchy. We ended up throwing out the whole order of edamame and about half of the sushi, so it was a rather disappointing waste of money and time, since the order took 20 minutes longer than they said it would, and we still ended up having to make dinner instead of enjoying a relaxing takeout meal at the end of the work week.
