Basic grocery store quality sushi—very small rolls with hardly any filling. No tuna on menu at all and a very limited boring menu. We ordered 5 rolls and 2 platters. Most were missing ingredients. One roll’s crispy topping was beyond soggy. Won’t be back.
We were in Kamloops in August for a swim meet for 4 days and we wanted to have a healthier option for our son instead of burgers and fries. We tried Edo Japan at this location and, hands down, this one is far better than the locations in the lower mainland. The bento boxes and rice bowls were fresh and hearty. We ended up ordering take out from here all three nights that we were in Kamloops. We didn’t order the sushi so I can’t speak to that but the hot items we ordered were good and a upgrade to typical burgers and fries.
One of the finest and unexplored Japanese food in Kamloops. Very friendly staff n well managed store . Such great recipes with super tasty food . I ordered sushi platter dynamite rolls which were extremely good n fresh ! The beef yakisoba with 2 scoops of sause was a super hit of the day . I am coming back soon EDO !!! It’s edoing in Kamloops !!!!
Very good chain restaurant teriyaki. Nice addition to the North Shore. A meal is about 9$-10 and for 2-3 bucks more you can add 4pc of sushi and a spring roll.
The bento boxes are a delight, great value for money, generous servings too, the hot sauce on the sidehot and yummyFood: 5/5
I ordered California rolls via skip the dishes. To start with, they were sloppily made. They were falling apart as I tried to pick them up and had hardly any substance to them. Then I tasted one piece and the rest of the roll went straight into the trash. It was the worst sushi I've had in my life. It wasn't just not good. It tasted downright nasty. I will not be ordering from here again and would advise against anyone else doing so.
I love Edo and it was amazing to find one when I moved to Kamloops. The staff were friendly and the service was fast. The food was delicious as always.Food: 5/5
I placed an order 2 months ago on skip. The order was great accept two bento boxes included sauce when they needed the hot sauce on the side. They took my details at the time of order and offered me an in store credit to make up for it. I don’t live near the store so today when I was in the neighbourhood I decided to stop in and collect the credit they said I could pick up in store. Although they didn’t have record they honoured what I told them and were so kind and helpful. I would recommend supporting the owners and the people that work here. It was an amazing experience. Great customer service!

This place is cooked by stir-frying on the iron plate. That's why it tastes better. The store is clean and the food is delicious. The parking lot is also large.
