I personally like the food here. The dishes taste good. Also the price is reasonable. If you are craving for some traditional spicy Chinese dishes, you can give this place a try. Two of us ordered 3 dishes and failed to finish them. The quantity is good as well. Hope this restaurant keep the quality as long as they can! I would love to revisit.
Really good Szechuan cuisine. Spicy! But you can ask for different spiciness level. Dishes were of good portion size and very tasty. Recommend eating it with fried or white rice to go with the spicy food. 3-4 dishes good enough for 2-3 people. Servers were all very nice including our server Ronica who showed us the menu and suggested some dishes.
A small place with friendly service and lots of authentic options and ability to change the spice and saltiness. The flavors were very homey and hearty and portions generous. Very popular place for dine in and takeout!
The BEST Sichuan style restaurant I’ve ever tried in GTA. Located in golden court plaza and plenty of available parking spots. Ordered chicken stew, spicy tofu and spicy beef for lunch and they all tasted amazing with authentic spice. Their staff was friendly and service was fast. Would like to come back for dinner today! Highly recommend!
First time buying takeaway which took 30 mins at least in weekday non peak hours. Reliable packing, you can see the plastic wrap to prevent the soup leaking out. Pretty for Simone who loves a picky food, not for beginner. I would rate 5 if the price is a little lower. Accept credit card which is a bonus. Keep it up!
Excellent food, well seasoned and big portioned. There are actually levels to the flavour of food instead bland saltiness like Red&Spicy Szechuan, you can clearly taste the refined peppercorn kick. The beer duck is amazing and I found myself eating much more rice than usual. Service offered was great as well, wait staff is mindful of every table and changes new plates for you when they see it is filled with food scraps. Pricing is fair, everybody is expensive these days anyway thanks to inflation.
Very long wait here, took us 1+hr to find the table, authentic szechuan dish, the exhaust range in the kitchen is probably bad, foggy environment during the stay, upper half of the room makes me cry….have to say, real chilli, old school dish pan and taste is really good, but for the extra long wait timeif u come one dinner time I would rather go HOTOPIA on the other side of the plaza for zero wait time. Portion got reduced compare to pandemic according to my friend, still good for the industrial standard. Worth it to dinner in on non-busy time or take out for sure. I might even vote #1 Szechuan food in town.
Wonderful Sichuan food with both outstanding service and decor. Came here with friends who doesn't like spicy, but still had an amazing meal great Sichuan cuisine is not just about spicy, numbing pepper is just as important. Here are some dishes I would highly recommend. The crispy pork and snow pea leaves soup is light and refreshing. This makes a great soup to enjoy along with other heavily flavored dishes. The boiled fish fillet with bean sprouts is a classic. In contrast to most Sichuan restaurants around the city, this is made with real snakehead fish fillet in the restaurant. Cannot recommend this enough. The stir fried bone-in chicken is really spicy and delicious. I would definitely get the boneless one, but they were sold out. This would be a nice dish to have with some alcoholic beverages. The last one is stir fried fermented black beans and chilli with clams. The clams are very fresh and the sauce is umami and numby. If you are into shellfish, this is the dish to try. Overall an excellent dining experience. Given the popularity of this restaurant, you may have to come like up 45min in advanced. Can't wait to be back again.
The food was really good. Authentic Chengdu cuisine. Spicy, fragrant, and numbing. Our server, Kenny was attentive and polite.
Deco like street food besides Yangzhi River. Sichuan style very spicy, taste is good, reasonable priced. Most dishes size good for 6 to 8 people gathering.
