We came here and picked the Fry Pigeon 4 dishes combo. Kids ask for sweet and sour pork so we paid a small fee to switch that in-lieu of the vinegar ribs on the menu.  Sweet and sour pork turns out great, kids loved it. fish filet with veggies came out next, fish are definitely the frozen type but they cooked them reasonably well. So the dish turns out not bad at all. Then came the lobster, it was smaller than I expect for a 4 person combo, May be it’s off-season but I could have used more meat on the shells! Taste was a little oily and salty than my liking. Pigeon, star of the meal came out finally, it’s done right, not too dry, crispy and meaty. The size is not the big kind but good enough.  We feel like adding a stir fry cramps, it’s fresh but again too oily and salty for my taste. Overall, it’s not a bad meal.

The atmosphere of this restaurant makes me feel like I am in my home town, a very authentic southern-Chinese small restaurant.  The food, however, is fairly blant, nothing really spectacular. And even though we arrived at 8pm, it was still short-staffed. These two combined makes the experience really average.

True the owner tried her best to sell some seafood and gave recommendations on what we should order. But we just need some time on the Menu. Overall the food is ok and the waitress replaced our plates also. The service charge 12% is included in the bill.

One of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in 32 years. First thing worker did was recommended expensive dishes that fed more than the number of us that showed up.  Ordered this sad looking duck with taro, where a bulk of the dish was taro, the duck was dry and old, the meat was tough. Furthermore, the flavour balance was way off. It tasted like cheap plum sauce forceful mashed in with duck and taro. The more I looked at it, the more irritated I got, to the point where I felt sick looking at it. Not sure what was worse, the taste or how it looks. It was a tangy disaster.  Lastly, was told by friends that the place is decent. I would have given them a chance has they not slapped a service fee on it without informing their customer. Best part of the experience was walking out after paying for this sorry meal. Good riddance!

Convenient location. Cozy and clean. Haven’t visited for a long time but recommended by a family member to try their lunch special $8.50 combo which comes with a HK style hot milk tea/ coffee or lemon tea. Extra $0.60 cents for cold drink. Service was good. The staff was polite and nice. Food served fast and hot. They tasted good. We went in till out was less than 30 mins. Very cost effective.

Grandparents' youth, brings the most of authentic Chinese food with large collection of old-school dishes  Must-try Signature shredded chicken # Roasted pork intestin # Dry-fried green beans with minced pork and preserved vegetables # Braised tofu with vegetables #  Quick service and friendly service ~ Great food great value ! Will be back !!

I’ve been here so many times and the food is always blows me away. Considering that, the price for the seafood is also very reasonable.   If you don’t mind a less fancy environment, I highly recommend this restaurant.

Good food for the price in Richmond hill. Always crowded and busy. The staff could be more friendly but efficient.

A surprisingly good and good value for money Hong Kong Food Centre  style eatery serving well executed hometown favorite

It was my first time at this restaurant. I was feeling a bit pressured and uncomfortable. The owner was too aggressive selling seafood and expensive dishes to us. If you do not order as per suggested, she will give you an attitude. The taste of the food that we ordered was ok and the portion was fair.
