Niagara's Choice Federal Credit Union

Awful! We took out a Home Equity Loan to install an inground pool. The person we dealt with was wonderful. Never had any problems. However, once that person left and we had to deal with Melissa, it was awful. She is rude and not knowledgeable. I had to go in several times to straighten out my account. I tried to increase my monthly payment, and she did not do that correctly. I made two payments that were supposed to be on the principal and that didn't happen. Rather they went in as "payments" and threw off my monthly payment schedule, incruing more interest. I finally borrowed money elsewhere to pay off loan. When I tried to payoff loan, I had to wait 15 minutes because Melissa said I needed to fill out a form that was not in the office and she needed to have it sent to her. Eventually, she advised me that I didn't have to sign form after all--that was only necessary for lines of credit not credit loans! Whenever I went in to straighten things out, Melissa was on the phone or her computer and totally ignored me for 15-20 minutes even though no one else was there. I intend to switch to another credit union even though this one is right next to my house.

It's a good credit union, very friendly people work there. Only draw back is the hours if you work past banking hours
