Great meat and great staff. I ordered a hind quarter of beef and I received timely service, great meat, and the process was smooth. The staff helps you with ordering and ensures you get what you are looking for. If you are just looking for a couple of nice steaks stop over and you won't be disappointed in your decision. You can't beat their meat!!!

Newbury Country Meats is a treasure for locavores and those seeking grass fed meat. While Heinen's occasionally carries local meat and grass fed meat, they rarely have local grass fed choices. The same can be said for other area butchers I've visited in eastern Lorain and western Cuyahoga Counties. I travel from the far west side of Cleveland a few times a month to fill my freezer at NCM. Everyone is incredibly friendly, happy to explain what you're looking at, make custom cuts, and order anything they don't have in the freezer. I'd tell you my favorite, but they'd sell out too fast! If you're serious about the ethics and quality of your beef, pork, lamb, and chicken, make the trip to Newbury.
