"We specialize in savory sub sandwiches. We bake our Italian Bread from scratch every morning. We also can make your sub hot on the grill, this is especially tasty. Definitely the locals choice. Speed and quality are paramount to us. Our sweet banana peppers add just enough zing to the subs to make you want to come back for more. This was the first time at the Bend location I've been to the Redmond one and loved it!, and it did not disappoint.  The sandwiches are absolutely delicious- the bread homemade in store is INCREDIBLE and the fillings/toppings are generous. I'm not one for hot sandwiches, so I got a cold Brox without the onion or peppers and it was wonderful! My friend did get a hot sandwich although I don't remember which one and she loved it as well. My one and only complaint is the lack of gluten free options/breads.  My bride is gluten sensitive, so she wasn't able to enjoy the amazing sandwiches New York City Sub Shop has.  That said, I also know the difficulty of having GF options and keeping them separate, so I can't be too surprised. Just as the Redmond location has become a "must stop" when we're there, the Bend location is now one as well.

NEW YORK SUB SHOP HAS THE BEST SUB IN BEND!!! Order the full size manhattan sandwich with all the recommendations and treat yourself to the amazingly NY authentic flavor only find in Central Oregon here, at New York Sub Shop. They have delicious cookies too! Great staff that you should tip generously!!!

So DARN!! GOOD!!!!!! A must go!!!!!! Bronx is my favorite but they got a bunch of other sandwiches to pick from also. Plus the guys that work there are super nice and helpful.

Warm and inviting, love the decor. Friendly staff. Excellent sandwiches, Park Ave sandwich is AMAZING!!! We were on a roadtrip so we got whole sandwiches to make it last 2 meals!

Best subs on west coast!  All options are great, can get spendy, but you always get what you pay for in quality and quantity.

Homemade bread and cookies as well as delicious sandwiches with friendly service. I'm here a couple times a week now.

They hustle, but your sandwich will take 15 minutes to make during the lunch period of 11-12:30. There’s only one veggie option, and it’s light on the veggies. Yet the crowds keep coming.

Good place for lunch  I've been here close to a dozen times and my order has never been right, but their food is really tasty.

These sandwiches are so balanced... Not too saucy, not overwhelmed with too much bread, and not too meaty. The person who helped us at the counter asked if we'd been in before, and they gave us a quick layout of their sustainable practices, in - house baked and prepared fillings, and recommendations. Oh my gosh. Ask for your sandwich warm and you won't be disappointed. Customer service was fantastic! I could tell that the locals come back for good reason when they were picking up their phone/online pre-orders. This will be our new tradition to stop by whenever we're in town.
