New Mukut Restaurant Indian Cuisine

We come here once or twice a month. It's simply our favorite place to eat in Orleans. I try a new dish every time I come and am amazed at the different flavours. Service is fast and responsive - if you need more of something, you get it immediately.

2 containers, 2 portions of naan-$42. No free rice, barely feeds 2! My wife found it too spicy, but no options were offered. Food was delicious, but for that amount, go out for supper instead.

The food was delicious. We were the only customers, perhaps this played a part. I would rated it one star higher, however, did not for a few reasons. Service was not personable. Air was not ventilated at all - to the point where I will say, do not wear cherished clothing, because the smell of the oil and spices will not wash out. Halfway through supper my eyes were irritated and although I was enjoying the taste and quality of the food, I was not enjoying the experience. All that needs to be done is: smile more and air out the place, regularly.

Service can sometimes be hit and miss but the quality of the food is excellent. Serious Indian food aficionados will approve of the authenticity.
