New Elgin Motel

Easily the worst motel I've been to Canada wide. Woke up with back pain, that's how bad the beds are here. Was supposed to stay for a week but checked out the next morning. Positive reviews are clearly fake as well. Update your beds dude.Rooms: 1/5

Woke up feeling blessed with the sauce, slept like a peach, definitely would sleep again, only problem was the shower can only fit to up to 2 people, great for fam but not for Sam!

A horrible experience. Heat was on high with no thermostat in sight to change it. Water was so disgusting it left me feeling dirtier after brushing my teeth. Bed was ... horrible and pillows were huge and hard. TV froze and glitched. The room was a smokers room sure, so it stank. But it had nicotine in clumps on the coat rack and walls. We have a 10 hour drive today and this has definitely added time to our drive, we are so exhausted. We had a 30$ pet deposit and with "$20 off", but still cost us $124.30 for the night. I asked for a military discount too, so who knows what this room actually cost. I got no proper receipt besides the charge to the card. No idea if we got the pet deposit back, or if it was a tip. Lol it was not great. Just keep driving. We are stopping in London next time.

booked a room told them I had a pet was told that’s okay till we arrived and found out Pet-friendly mean as long as you don’t have a cat. It should say any pets but cats dogs are finrRooms: 1/5

They go out of their way to help out everyone during tough transition times do to Corvid 19. They just renovated their rooms to provide a great stay. Great rates on rooms, renovated rooms are non smoking. I enjoyed my stay and had a few BBQ’s steaks

Wonderful experience!! Exemplary service - from our initial welcome, being shown to our room, receiving our welcome drinks - the whole experience surpasses expectations and creates a fantastic experience. We had a lovely little room overlooking the park - perfect! The bathroom was small, the shower was a small cubicle - but all presented beautifully. We stay here every time we visit Port stanley. Best motel in the town!!

I stayed here Sept 27 2020 based on the positive reviews and I couldn't have been more disappointed. Dark, dingy, dirty, dated, all the rooms are smoking rooms and smells like it. Had it not already been a long day of driving I would have looked for something else. I think the pictures speak for themselves.

Rooms weren't the cleanest, the main entry door had no deadbolt, just the lock on the handle. Very sketchy.

The place had horrible bed bugs, owner refused to accept that it had them and he just brushed them onto the floor and stepped on them calling them mosquito's even after we had photo evidence. Owner was very rude and we were forced to spend the night in our vehicle in a parking lot and refused to give us a refund or any help what so ever. Highly recommended that you stay as FAR AWAY as possible!!

Clean and tidy. Quiet. Has wi fi .T. V. Mini fridge and freezer. Warm in winter Cool in summer. All the accessories for a nice quiet stay at a motel.
