Comfort Inn St. Thomas

Stayed there October 15-16, 2017. Found a bed bug in the morning. Made hotel staff aware. They called the next day to confirm that they too found bed bugs in the room, but as of now they are not willing to refund our money. We booked through a third party website, but this should not stop them from giving a refund!! Very disappointed in the customer service - we should not be paying for a room that had bed bugs!!! We will definitely be going higher up to find a better solution. Health department was notified!!! We will never stay here again!! Update - we were told that we would receive a full refund of $141.90 by the manager of the hotel. Four weeks passed by and we received a cheque for $83.39. We spoke to the owner who refused to refund the promised total amount of $141.90 and wished us good luck on getting any more money back. We realize that bed bugs happen in many hotels. The difference here is in customer service!! This hotel has terrible customer service. We have several hockey and swim meets in the area coming up and our teams will not use this hotel - we will take the extra time and stay in London at a hotel with better customer service. In the end, this Comfort Inn will lose out on more than the $58 difference that they still owe us and was guatanteed to us when the bed bugs were found. If you are looking for a hotel with customer service DO NOT stay here!!!

The location was good and the staff are very helpful. It's a bit small so there were very limited room options when we booked and our room was a bit small compared to other comfort inns. Overall it was a good stay.

Stayed overnight after visiting family and quite satisfied with my stay. The rooms were clean and well kept, very comfortable, and the bed was as well. The staff was friendly and helpful. The complementary breakfast was fresh and provided a nice range of options to choose from. (Most importantly for me the coffee was pretty good too.) If I ever need to stay a night or too in the area I would have no problems staying at that comfort inn again.

Location is convenient...could do without the highway noise...but, having said that, it wasn't too bad. Great service-friendly folks.

My wife and I stayed here for a wedding. We requested early check in (and were willing to pay for it) but we're told they couldn't accommodate the request. The room was fine, but the bar fridge was a little dated. The HVAC unit was a little older as well with one of the knobs missing, and the toilet didn't flush well. In the end the bed was comfy and the A.C. did work, so it wasn't terrible.
