I requested full head highlights.  All I got was a couple of highlight patches all over. So much of my original black hair is totally untouched.  Honestly it does not look like I did anything different to my hair from before.  Also the color was wrong, I ended up with patches of ash instead of honey blond.  I showed images of exactly what I wanted before she began.  The hair stylist did not own up to her mistake even with me asking her throughout the process on why she was not adding highlights to the majority of my head. She just kept saying she would add more color for rest during wash, which was weird.  I spent 300 dollars, hard earned money.  Owner did not apologize or offered refund or redo. She did not seem to care about her own business.  Receptionist was the only professional one that actually apologized and helped. She was also the one who advised to speak to the owner, with hope some good would come of it.  Aveda partners have been amazing through the many years I have been with them. I made a mistake scheduling my appointment online and made it for the wrong day. I called and spoke with Teri. She was so helpful and made rescheduling to the correct day so easy!

I've had nothing but wonderful experiences here at New Beginnings since day 1. I've always been welcomed by EXTRAORDINARY STAFF with out of this world attitudes. I used to be extremely nervous about anyone touching my hair and I was referred to this salon by a fellow co-worker. I was scheduled with Alexis for a hair service and after that first appointment I knew I wanted to go back. Alexis was detail oriented and thorough about understanding my wants and desires. She made my hair not only look good but also feel GREAT! Since then I've rescheduled multiple appointments with her and whenever I'm in state, I do what I can to get in for an appointment. This salon is five stars not only for their profession atmosphere, but the salon itself is gorgeous, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable and lastly they ALWAYS do what they can to accommodate the customer. I LOVE THIS PLACE! I'll forever be a returning customer.

Most overpriced and mediocre haircut I’ve ever gotten. I wanted a simple trim to remove the damaged ends. The stylist who never introduced herself despite me mentioning at the start that I had never been to this salon before cut a majority of the length of while my hair was wet, then dried it and added layers and texture after. She didn’t use any product or make any attempt to style it. I was there all of 25 minutes 10 of which were spent washing my hair - an excessive amount of time because I have fine hair and my cut was $66.

I have such a positive experience every time I go to New Beginning Salon Spa.  The front desk staff is always cheerful, friendly & helpful.  They always welcome me & offer me something to drink.  The salon is always clean, neat & organized.  The hair service that I pay for is excellent thank you Whitney.  The product line is high quality.  The entire staff treats me so well from the minute I walk in to the salon until the minute I walk out the door.

I love going to New Beginnings. My hairstylist always does a fantastic job on my hair- I love both the color and the cut. Besides that, it’s a totally relaxing experience as well!  There’s usually a foot soak while the color sets and a hand massage when I have a deep conditioner put on my hair. All of the people here are friendly and welcoming and it’s a great experience all around.

Love! Love! Love! I just visited New Beginning for the first time today. I read other reviews and was impressed, so I decided to give it a shot. I'm always a bit skeptical of spas because sometimes they can feel a little overdone,  fake, awkward and uncomfortable. Not this place at all! Everyone was SO genuine and kind. My massage therapist was amazing. She did a great job and my the end I was so relaxed. I love that they have taken the different services available and split them up. My massage and pedicure was on the top floor away from the sounds of blow dryers downstairs where people were getting their hair styled. They did a great job thinking through their setup. It was so quiet, relaxing, clean, with authentic people, and everything I wanted in a spa. Highly recommend! You will be so happy you went!
