Always welcoming and friendly staff. Fully stocked on fresh water and salt water species, from tiny tetras and shrimp to stunning arowana showcases. Fully stocked with all the supplies anyone would need for keep their fish happy and healthy. Definitely worth a stop for any fish keeping hobbyist! Plus they have stuff for keeping birds, small mammals and reptiles!
I bought 5 fish from them, my levels are great in my planted tropical 55 gallon tank. I acclimated them for an hour. Was told there is only a 24 hour fish warranty, I had all 5 fish die over a 2 week period, they clearly had something wrong with them. There was no effort to correct this and basically was told that it is my fault. I have had fish for many many years of my life and this has never happened. One fish dying out of 5 I don't find out of the normal, sometimes it happens, but All 5! What a waste of my money! I told the lady on the phone what happened and if they won't do anything, I won't be purchasing from them anymore. SHE HUNG UP ON ME. DON'T shop here, they don't care about their customers.
best locally owned fish store in wpg, it is a little messy but the service is great with prices you cant beat. employees are extremely knowledgeable.
I have been running a healthy goldfish tank for many years. I added a fish from here two weeks ago and now my fish are dying. When I called to talk to them about it, I was aggressively told that it was my fault for not looking after my water correctly. They would not listen to anything that was said on my end, and continually told me it was my fault. I will never use or recommend this store again.
Oh wow this place is a gem! The place is clean organized and the staff knowledgeable and helpful. Popped in for some quick additions to our class room fish tank. Was in and out within 15 minutes with 4 assassin snails, 6 black neon tetra and 4 neon tetra to add to our current school. The kids were over joked and spent the majority of the day sitting in front of the 20 gal admiring our new pets.
So many different fish for sale. Even a jelly fish. One of the big fish was going for $3000 absolutely crazy. They also had sting rays. Probably not for sale though.
Was not impressed with the tone of voice I was greeted with by the owner on this trip to buy two new birds. Due to a previous negative visit to the store a month prior, the owner approached me and proceeded to yell and later accuse me of reporting his store to the WHS. Which for the record I did no such thing. I reluctantly purchased the birds I was there for, and I'm sure he will be happy to learn, I will never do business there again. Very unprofessional. I will say his shop is clean, the fish look good and his prices are reasonable. Just don't get on his bad side.
Just looking around and the stuff im looking for is in there. For a beginner like me all i need to know most for beginner, is been told. im very happy for my small aquarium set up and im glad i went there.
Excellent selection of everything from aquariums, decor incredible selection of driftwood! and really decent selection of fish.
Nestor is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. He goes up and beyond for his customers and has the widest selection in Winnipeg for everything in the aquarium hobby. Highly recommend.
