Great healthy eats. Highly recommended this place, after all we are what we eat and this place offers really good high quality foods. Their menu is big and wish I could try it all.
Tasty vegan and vegetarian entrees, sides, salads and desserts served in the cafe attached to the well stocked health food grocery store. Large indoor dining area with some outdoor patio seating. Vegetarian options: Good selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. Wheelchair accessible, free parking. Kid-friendliness: Suitable for children. Have been going to this place, on & off since the early 80's. They've moved to about four places. Love the quality & the variety! They have one of the largest selections of herbs in town and a very helpful staff. The restaurant has A wonderful menu that serves carnivores & the plant based crowd. Prices are competitive, but considering quality products you getting the best bang for the buck!
This Healthy Cafe is hidden within a Health Food Store that offers countless vegan options. They do offer animal proteins, vegetarian options along with vegan options. Their food is distinct in its flavor as they utilize local organic produce when available. The dish that I decided to try was the “Happy Veggie Patty Sandwich” paired with sliced potatoes as a side. The sandwich itself was delicious, especially the patty which was super sized. The avocado along vinaigrette coke slaw packed a distinct flavor. I would say the potatoes was my favorite part of the dish since they were seasoned perfectly. Once the meal was devoured, I felt satisfied, not stuffed. Seating options are tables with booths which are extremely comfortable! They do also have fresh pastries along with some local ice cream popsicles. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a flavorsome meal!
I tried the potato gnocchi with grilled chicken and side salad with Greek dressing. It was well seasoned and delicious! I will be back.
The staff here is very kind, and the food is both healthy and satisfying. It's close to Memorial City too, making it a great place to stop for a wholesome, nourishing meal. As a bonus, they also have a supplement and health food shop inside the restaurant. I would absolutely recommend visiting if you're in the area!
Friendly staff, the owner came to our table to check how our food was and offered a free dessert. The ambient is very homelike. Food is delicious and yet very healthy. They claim they use most organic ingredients. Good selection of vegan desserts with sugar and gluten free options. We had atlantic salmon plate and feast fajitas with chicken and shrimp fajitas.
Love their herb section when they actually have in stock what I’m looking for but the cashiers are always unfriendly. They do not provide customer service that makes you feel welcomed and appreciated as a customer. They just weigh your herbs and take payment.
My first time here. Will be my last time as well. I ordered my food. I waited and waited. People that came in after me got their orders. I kept looking at the young lady behind the register hoping she would remember and see I didn't have my food. Finally the cook made eye contact with me and I fi ally got my food. It was good, but come on. I should not have had to wait a half hour before someone noticed me not having my food. The cashier really was flippant about it. I don't have to spend my hard earned money here. There are way too many restaurants in this area for this. Unacceptable. Disappointed.
I love this place. Prices are reasonable and the gentleman behind the register is awesome! Update: Once again they have out done themselves. Everything I needed and more. The staff is always happy to help in anyway possible. I am looking forward to doing more business in the future, both as an herbalist and with our charity.
