National Car Rental

Flight arrived at RIC around 11:30pm and even though there was only one person working the counter my first time using National so I had to verify my card, etc they were quick and kept the line moving. Once out in the garage they were out of the class I had rented so I got a free upgrade. Car was a little dirty, crumbs in the back seat and some sticky areas up front, but it was a new Highlander XLE AWD and very comfortable. I would recommend this location and use National again. I was a regular Hertz customer for the last 15 years with at least 2-3 rentals per year, but I will never use them or any of their affiliated brands after the false police report scandal.

National has officially become my Favorite Car Rental. Totally like the commercials!!!! Enter, Greeters and You Pick your style of preferred vehicle which has always been clean and updated vehicles. I love the Customer Service from start to return. Also great Company rates for your employees. I'm heading to platinum status and beyond!

For the most part smooth, efficient, adequate use of time. However come with hard to find vehicle. They have a "choose and go procedure" which is confusing. Had to stand around and search for lot employee to help. Otherwise, clean vehicle.

Had a corporate booking with Executive Emerald status at the Richmond airport location. Emailed instructions on the day of travel said to “ Go straight to the Executive area — the keys are in the cars”. What happened instead was a 30-minute wait in the stifling heat of the parking deck and a long line of everybody waiting for cars. The agent was unsure about how long the wait would be, and some people just left when they heard that update. If you are looking for a seamless “bypass the counter “ experience or a “choose any car” Executive Emerald Perk I ended up getting the first car available - a mini van, this is not the location for it.

Great Staff, Decent selection of cars..... That's all you need. Very helpful gentleman behind the counter. Very efficient and to the point. Did mention all the extras but wasn't pushy to buy them. Awesome experience... Will be back.

If you want a simple experience in renting a vehicle it doesn't get any easier than National. I book online then when I arrive at the site I can pick any vehicle in a certain area and off I go. The cars are always clean and the staff are friendly. Dropping off is super-quick pull up unload and by that time you have a receipt in your inbox.

Richmond international airport… the worse!!!! The agent was great. However the communication was poor between the local office at the airport and the 1800 number. “EnterpriseHoldings” Administration department kept sending me threatening emails informing me they will take “further action against me if I didn’t return their vehicle”. Keep in mind, I called to get an extra day, spoke with an agent at the.number provided on my paperwork, got a confirmation number, and still receive several emails that I considered bullying/threatening. I tried to call the number on the email, whose title they claimed to be an “Administrator“ never returned my call I left a couple voicemails… which were never returned. I could go on about this NO CUSTOMER service I received from the Richmond International Airport “ Enterprise Company” I’ll just say, Please do not use their Non Customer Service in renting your next, or any vehicle!!! Consumers have rights too! Mrs. C

The selection of cars for the executive elite was not that impressive. Very friendly attendants, as you checked out. I will mention, though, that when you are in a National booth, an employee, less attitude will get you better ratings. If you didn't want to come to come to work you should have stayed home

This last trip Richmond Airport my daughter left her backpack in the garage during pickup. RIC Enterprise / National Manager Amanda contacted us directly and facilitated retrieval of the bag before our return flight. Excellent customer service!

I love National! Hands down the most convenient rental experience. I keep telling everyone about it. I’m an emerald club member and to skip ticket counters, walk up, choose a car and leave is just amazing. I’m a fan for life at this point lol
