Brought my car in for a clutch change with a full clutch kit a few months back. They said they had experience working on my car. Was quoted a number. When they changed the clutch they had problems putting the car (4wd) back together. They called on the phone and told me they're working on some issues with the clutch slipping after putting it back together and will let me know how it goes. I said ok let me know and suggested they check the axles, which they said were not the problem. The next morning I get a call saying they had to take the thing apart and found no problems. Then they called the clutch manufacturer they company said to check the axles, which fixed the problem. When I picked the car up they charged me $300 labour for their mistake putting my car back together, even though I told them what to check and they ignored me. They also said "if we supplied the parts we would have eaten the cost". The parts were obviously not the problem, it was their labour. Unfortunately when someone else has your car you have little recourse for dispute. I thought about calling NAPA directly but in the end it's not worth it.
