I absolutely love the service. I am a beginner who doesn't know anything about musical instruments. Jonathan was very helpful and patient. He showed few guitars and helped me pick the right one for me. He was very considerate of my needs and my budget. Very honest and doesn't try to up sell. I would recommend this shop for anyone looking for outstanding service, honest opinion and a wide selection of musical instruments and accessories
We bought a guitar here for our youngest who is starting university. Johnathan could not have been more helpful, knowledgeable or charming. He never tried to pressure or upsell us but was ready to answer any questions. We ended up finding a guitar they love within our budget. Highly recommend!
Was just checking out guitar stores while I was in Montreal, and this was my last stop. It should have been my first. The guys in the shop were so welcoming and were great with conversation. They actively encouraged me to try damn near everything, which if you've been in a music store is like the opposite of what they generally do lol. Sure you can try stuff but it's so rare there's a sales guy like "Yes please make noise, make my ears bleed". I'll buy from these guys again next time I'm there for sure.
This place is a real joke I got there 10 minutes before the store opens, and was told by the 3 different arrogant employees that I had to move my car because the parking was reserved for employees only, and that clients need to find parking on the street. This place is a real joke, perfect example of how the customer service is really important for this place.
My partner and I were in Nantel today to buy a capo and some patch cables. We were testing a few guitars acoustically for 15 minutes when an employee came over and told us it wasn't a jam space and that we needed to stop playing. It felt like he assumed we wouldn't be buying anything, even though we are both thinking of getting a new guitar in the near future. Anyways, he said it loudly and it was really embarrassing and weird because obviously you need to try the instruments a bit if you're going to purchase. Other people were playing guitar and he didn't bother them.
Really well-curated store with awesome staff. Highly recommended for guitar / synth heads. Everyone is incredibly nice, welcoming and knowledgeable.
Nentel is a beautiful music store. There is an excellent selection of instruments. I received very good and sympathetic advice here. Thank you Jonathan!
Extremely pleasant and knowledgeable staff. The older gentleman helped me with my request, and he did things quickly and efficiently.
Staff were very helpful and seemed very knowledgeable. Fun and easy except. The employee who helped me pick out a guitar was very genuine and didn't upsell me or try and push any specific models. Being a beginner electric player I knew some things about electric but not much. Prices were also very reasonable for what you're getting.
Wonderful, helpful staff. Went to look for a second acoustic guitar. No pressure.
