Happened upon this unique place while finding our AirBnB house.  The owner was so helpful, polite, and patient.  Her organization of the buttons is mind blowing.  I am so excited to take my mom back a little something special from Montreal.

Friendly and helpful owner. Often have super attractive staff. Large selection of fancy buttons, many of which are imported from Germany. additional sewing materials available. small shop but has lots of selection. hip and fun vibe.

Great spot to go to if you are looking for buttons or ribbons or small items for your vintage clothes.

Helpful, knowledgeable, and a store full of detail items one would not find in regular fabric outlets.

Awful service! The owner is rude and unfriendly and seems completely oblivious to her own repugnant ways. I will visit every other store with ribbons and buttons in Montreal before returning to Rix Rax.
