Myoungdong Chammat Kalguksu

Really nice korean spot. The food is mid tier in terms of price but its very delicious. The staff werent very good with English which reassures me the food is going to be bomb, and it was. We got one bulgogi and one rice cake soup and it came to around $35. They brought kimchi for the side as well which i loved

My friend take me to this Korean dumpling place. She said it's very popular in big dumplings and noodles. the kimchi is very fresh. We ordered steamed dumplings rice cake in soup noodle and tofu pancake All the dishes are very delicious. I especially like the pancake with the sauce. The dumpling is very very big with meat mainly inside. It tastes very good, too. Love the location lot of parking, there is wifi, take credit card and cash. Servers are very friendly. Prices are great

Wow this place is amazing! Totally didn’t know about it as the google maps name was purely in Korean but specializes in Kalguksu. That Kimchi is RIDICULOUSLY good! Like best I’ve ever had in the city, even better than Cho Sun Ok! Tastes exactly like the stores in Korea! Highly recommend the ‘Kalguksu and Dumpling’ or ‘Kalguksu and Bossam’ combos! 10% off with card and 20% off with cash during lockdown.

I don’t know why this place has so many low reviews. On a Sunday service was super friendly and fast. Free parking in front and food quality was very good. The menu items are very well priced and delicious. I ordered the mandu guk, which came with 4 massive dumplings and soup. I would come here again.

Visited on a Monday evening late April 2018. The restaurant at this location is now called Myoungdong Chammat Kalguksu and it is a Korean restaurant with menu ordering, not AYCE sushi. It focuses on noodle and dumpling soups and has other familiar Korean dishes such as bibimbap and bossam, etc I had the mool naengmyun and mandu guk. A little pot of garlicky kimchi is included. Other side dishes come with certain main dishes. Both main dishes were fine and the dumplings in the mandu guk are very large. I like the interior style of the place fantastic transformation into a modern esthetic by renovation and service was quick and businesslike. The parking lot had ample space in it. Give it a try if you like Korean food.

Food was ok, I tried both the kalguksoo and spicy noodle. Service was not fast, but the establishment was clean. A few Korean dishes was not available here.

I’m not a fan of Korean food. But this place is really good. They only offer a few option of food, all are at high quality.

I'll give them a solid five because I had a good experience. I came because it was recommended. I had the wang mandu for takeout- it was in the noodle section so I thought it came with noodles. There were six huge pieces of dumplings and they were pretty amazing. I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed the smell in the car ride and they tasted great. The kimchi they provided was solid - they gave a lot and was pretty spicy so I think that's authentic. Overall, my experience made me want to come back to have the dumplings again and try other things recommended like the noodles. I will say the prices seem a bit on the pricier side, but if the taste for everything else is as good as the dumplings it may be well worth it. Service was friendly and restaurant looks clean, so I'd like trying to dine in sometime.

One of my favorite Korean restaurants! A lot of delicious dishes good variety and the staff are friendly!
