The spicy pork hock was so good!!! Great vibe and the portions were perfect. It says one order is good for two people but I think we could've used a third person. I love the DIY rice balls too.. so fun and yummy. Would love to try the other items on the menu!
The braised pork hocks were perfectly cooked and just tasting amazing. Seasoned rice and rice cake tasted great, too. Fast service and friendly waiters. Only a few parking spaces but street parking is available nearby. Will come back again. Highly recommend!
Prok hock was way much softer than I expected but it was very yummy. I had the original but am willing to try the garlic one next time. The noodle was super great, especially with the pork hock. King sprout souo was nice as well. Staffs were very nice and kind. I will recommend this place to my friends for sure. As a Korean, this is 4.5/5 perfect place for pork hock original Korean pork hock is not this soft but more likely to be chewy, but the taste was perfect..
Very unique dishes, you cannot find around the city. Great flavours and portions, nice side dishes, good atmosphere. It’s a bit more pricey than your average Korean restaurant but absolutely worth it considering they specialize in jokbal and it’s a very generous serving.
I've never had pig feet before, so wasn't sure what to expect. This place tastes so good! The meat is flavorful, soft. And if you eat it with the spicy salad, the combo is great I like their selection of drinks like rice wine too. I think this place does get busy, but definitely recommend!!Food: 5/5
Might be the best jokbal I've tried in Toronto. Would recommend the half and half if it's your first time, but highly prefer the jokbal over bossam. Also, one order of meat with many side was more than enough for 4ppl + we had leftover meat. +visited the second time and tried their spicy jokbal, it pairs great with rice. I got garlic on the side since I the garlic jokbal is essentially garlic sauce on top.
Food was soooo good! The jokbal was so flavourful and the portions are generous! The DIY "rice ball", which is actually a box of rice with really tasty toppings, is the best add-on, along with complimentary kimchi and lettuce wrap. Will definitely go back for more!!
Would return. Highly recommended. Definitively the best Jokbal in Toronto spicy version. Quality sides, good portions and prompt service too. Amazingly Smokey, not too spicy, gelatinous and tender. Must try. Don't get takeout. Bossam is good if mild next to the spicy Jokbal. Comes with a very good spicy radish side however. Jokbal spicy is a must order. The rice upgrade is recommended if you're getting the single serving, which is enough to share between a couple. Sides include soup, lettuce, sweet pickled radish, sweet and sour spring onions, garlic, ssamjang. They should be more generous with the rice cake imo, since it only comes with one, unless you add extra $4. Takes AMEX. $15-$25 pp.
The portion is HUGE!! I had to share it with 2 other people, together with the sweet and spicy cold noodles. The Jokbal meat tastes absolutely tender and amazing, it melt in my mouth. The noodles helps refreshing and killing the fat taste from the meat. I thought the menu is a little pricey but after I try this definitely worth it. Bonus: I'm in love with their kimchi!
Amazing food. The pig trotters are delicious and the portion is huge. Could definitely feed 3 people. They give you 6 or 7 side dishes to eat with the pork. Kimchi was one of the best I’ve had so far. My other favourite side was the radish, which was fermented and seasoned perfectly. The service was also excellent; the food came quickly and our waitress was kind and attentive.
