Mussel Beach Wilderness Campground

Mussel Beach is absolutely gorgeous, it's a little slice of paradise! I've camped here three years in a row with a group of friends and thoroughly enjoyed it. The beach is great for exploring, there's even a neat cave nearby. The campsites are spacious and have amazing views. As an extra bonus the campsite has well maintained outhouses and showers!

Beautiful south facing campsites that are mostly water front. Rough gravel road that is manageable for most units. Hot showers, very clean outhouse style bathrooms. No boat launch.

We enjoyed every bit of our stay. Loved the campsite, the expansive/beautiful/fascinating beaches, wildlife sightings, gorgeous views, quiet neighbours, and super-friendly hosts. Rugged and remote, with just the right amount of little comforts. Totally worth the bumpy drive down the last stretch of gravel road...we will be back for sure!

Great out of the way place,super interesting shoreline to explore and enough space between campsites for a bit of privacy.

7 mikes off the beaten path car or camper ok but turn around might be tough. Big RV not a good idea tight and rough road. Owners are very friendly Remote from town bring all your stuff. I would return just for the great location and friendly staff. Book well in advance because this place is "The sticky tape ".
