Story

The Surf Club is available for anyone seeking Surf Lesson, Surf Rental or surf Info. Our local instructors are certified by the Royal Lifesaving Society of Canada and personalize the lesson to your level. With Cox Bay Beach right on our doorstep and known world-wide for its quality beach break, why wouldn't you join the Club?

All our lessons are a private customized 2.5 hour lesson which means that you decide the pace and level of instruction. You are also able to decide the number of people in your lesson (maximum of 5 per instructor); arrangements can be made for larger groups. No hassles... it is the most efficient way to get into the water having fun! We help to alleviate the struggles that we all go through learning such a difficult unique sport and we provide all of the equipment you will need, right on-site.

I want to give a shout out to the fantastic staff here at Long Beach Lodge! Spent 3 glorious, sun-filled days hiking, hot-tubbing and fine dining. When I couldn't get a taxi back downtown for my flight, they transported me no problem and refused to take a tip. Beautiful experience, andnreasonably priced. I can't wait to go back.

The Great Room restaurant is absolutely amazing. Came over from Cox Bay Beach resort next door for dinner and drinks. Had the best meal of all in Tofino ! The service was fantastic, restaurant was clean , and wonderful atmosphere! Would recommend it for anyone

My wife and I stayed in Tofino for 1 week and had dinner at the great room 3 times and breakfast once. The food was incredible and the staff was so accommodating to my wife’s allergies. I highly recommend and would 100% go back.

Thank you to all the staff for making our stay beyond memorable.nWe very much enjoyed our Rainforest Cottage, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, fully stocked kitchen, dining area, comfy sofas in front of the fire, and hot tub on the patio .... star gazing at its best!nThe location was perfect, two minutes from the beach.nThe weatherman gave us glorious weather, and epic sunsets every night.nOur dinner in the Great Room was sublime, every morsel delicious.nWhat can I say about the staff ...  We were greeted by Sylvia at the gate whose massive smile and bubbly personality was so welcoming.nKiju took such care of us in the restaurant.nBenjamin at the front desk was as helpful as any hotel staff I have encountered in my 40+ years of travel!nThere there's Mel, assistant manager extraordinaire!!nOh-so helpful, friendly ... you all made our vacation/60th birthday/retirement celebrations the best possible experiences ever.nWe cannot thank you enough!nI will definitely return. Highly recommended.

I have been dying to stay here for as long as I can remember and Long Beach Lodge did not disappoint! We were lucky enough to book one of the cottages as there was a promotion running this month, stay 3 nights, pay for 2 and I was beyond blown away! I have visited the resort many times in the past to surf and enjoy a coffee in their great room but to stay here is a completely different experience. The cottages are incredible/stunning, fully stocked with everything you need and a sweet little welcome gift, plus you have your own private hot tub, perfect for relaxing in after a day of adventures or surfing. We ate dinner in the great room one evening and the food was phenomenal, the squid dish and steak were to die for and our waiter Keyju was FANTASTIC! I could really go on and on with all the wonderful things you will experience during your stay here, but if you have the opportunity to be a guest, don't hesitate for a second to book it, you will not regret. I will definitely be back soon, as it was so hard to leave Tofino this time :  Thank you Long beach lodge and staff for an amazing family day long weekend!!!
