Amazing experience. Bigger than what I thought. And honestly their visual introduction room Le Palais des Saisons is fantastic. I wasn’t expecting that at all. This place is full of fun and amazing work. I felt it a bit expensive but once at the end it totally worth it. Staff is nice and it will be awesome to see different or extra statues once in a while
This place was a lot of fun. I visited in July 2018 when they also had an old exhibit featuring retro board games. In the main museum, there are tons of wax figures. Many of them are Canadian and largely Quebecois influenced. Lots of sports figures and A-list celebrities. This is the first wax museum I've ever been to and so I found it a bit creepy because I was always half-waiting for one of the figures to be a real person and lunge out and scare me. I guess that's a testament to some of them seeming so very real. My favorite was Donald Sutherland because it looked exactly like him. Worth the price of admission. Check it out.
We had so much fun here! Spent a few hours and the kids were so excited to see everything. Plus they made hand wax the first time for me to do it. Kinda good experience!
Amazing Experience! From the beginning you feel an immersion in the Museum , it is incredible. It has several rooms with different themes and personalities. The wax figures are very well made. In the rooms you can see from the history of Canada to the celebrities of Hollywood.
Amazing wax museum with historical context attached to each character. Some where super life like i almost asked it for directions. The history was beautiful written and very educational. Huge recommend
This place is a must see. Every time im in Montreal I come to Grevin. Its not your average wax museum its an experience. They do this amazing interactive show to kick off the experience. Then they have wax figures that you can get up close with. They even have props that you can use or wear to take picture alongside your favourite characters. They look so real. Also there is min supervisor so you can comfortably walk through the museum with no velvet robes to keep you away. I never get tired of this place. They switch it up every once in a while. WORTH IT!!
Came here with my family on our Montreal weekend trip and we loved it!! Although a little pricey, it was well worth it! We paid the equivalent of about $71 American dollars for two adults, 1 senior and 1 child. We went on a Sunday and there was barely anyone else there. They charge to hold your coats so keep that in mind and parking was not bad. I paid about $8 and I parked nearby. DISCLAIMER for small kids, my 4 year old was creeped out by the entrance which was dark and had sounds playing all over over. She started to cry when we entered to watch the entry video which was in the middle of a dark room. A 3D video played with loud dramatic music that creeped her and my father-in-law out but nothing actually scary came out. After the video finished they opened the back door into the museum. My daughter stayed scared the whole time due to the themed music and sounds. The wax figures were of real good quality and most looked authentic to the real life person but others like Obama didn't lol! My oldest which is 7 years old loved every bit of the museum and took many photos as did my father-in-law. It took us about 1 and 1/2 to go around the museum and that's because of all the photos taken! I highly recommend coming here on your trip to Montreal as it is very fun!!
excellent museum to visit with the family, most are artists and singers from canada, you show on some screens the way in which the replicas and their processes are made. the 5D for 7cad I really do not recommend it at all! Get your tickets online as it is much better. The museum is not that big but it is very entertaining! prices are accessible to all
I really enjoyed the wax museum. I have not been to one in years. For the most part, I found the wax figures resembled the people they were made to look like. I particularly enjoyed the temporary exibit of over 700 board games, some of which you could play. The display also included some very old games, including one of the original Monopoly games with history of the game included. A giant Jenga game made out of cardboard, which also could be played, was also included in the exibit.
Amazing museum where everything almost looks real. Haven't seen something like this before, would say better than Madam Tussauds in NYC and LA. Don't miss it out. The museum is located in Eton Centre, off Saint Catherine St. You could purchase your tickets right there. Family package is available. You would probably need 2 to 3 hours there. Enjoy it.
