Definitely one of the must-see places in Old Montreal. Château Ramezay has one of the most whimsical gardens in the city. Make sure to walk around the grounds on both sites of this historical site. Don't miss the back garden. If you're visiting in winter, you will miss most of the magic since the garden will be covered with snow.
Highly recommended! The best place to learn about the history of Montreal.
my favorite museum in Montreal. it shows the life of a rich person during the colony. it is not too big but very interesting if you are looking some some exclusive photos
A quaint little museum with a lot of history. A hands-on museum with lots of interesting exhibits that showed the history of Montreal through the eyes of the various people that resided in this house.
Really nice place worth the visit for the things exhibited
The whole place takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour to go through properly. Each room is very unique and provides a lot of history to learn. There is a creepy ghost feel I have to admit. Price for adults was under 10 bucks. Worth a quick stop.
The place has very nice and authentic historical artifacts
The staff were all dressed the part and were helpful in both French and English. A great spot to check out for a short bit of history. The garden out back is beautiful.
Absolutely love scent exposition, you could smell the scent of flowers that were sent by dad from battlefield in Europe to his daughter in Montreal. Heartbreaking story about the war, love and hope. Chateau by itself as a source and spirit of old life in Montreal.
