Municipal Library of Châteauguay

Shows the importance of books and reading and in making the atmosphere positive for kids to develop, for people who wish to study read or work. I loved the genealogy section, interesting things I found, maybe if you are looking for someone you may find your info here.

There's nothing in Châteauguay I love more than this library. I always find the books I need/want, it's super relaxing, staff are helpful and nice, and there's not just a library. There's also a children's corner, a computer room and functioning elevators. Overall a great place that I go every month

The librairy has a vast choice of both French and English books and if they don’t have the one you are looking for, they quickly get it either on loan from another library or they ask you to put in a purchase request.nService is absolutely great!

I love this library. The only one in Chateauguay, but if there were others, they would not match up to this one. It is very clean and chic on the indoors. They have plenty of book options in English and French. They even have some DVDs which I never got because it is a library but, it is an option. Easy to navigate as well despite the big size. The only reason it gets a 4 star is because it is not as quiet as a library should be. Libraries are supposed to be a quiet and relaxing area. It is not as loud as your high school cafeteria, but it is loud for a library. If you do not mind the noise, this library is perfect.
