Bibliothèque Kirkland

The Kirkland Public Library is decent library and I have taken some classes here in the past.nnPros:n1 It’s a nice library very spacious and nice although small.n2 Staff here are very nice and courteous.n3 The library is very clean and well maintained.n4 They are small rooms and things and activities that take place here from time to time.n5 It has trees and some green spaces nearby and it’s nice during the summer.n5 Location is nice and near many restaurants and shops.nnCons:n1 Parking is a challenge since it’s small and compact. They have other parking lots as well but you have cross or walk a little bit more.n2 The library needs to be renovated and make it more 2024 and beyond. They need to get rid of some machines that are outdated and need to be better for the city and community. Maybe add a second floor.n3 Lacking green spaces and more benches to sit.nnOther than it’s a nice library although I don’t rent or use the facilities as much. It’s a nice place to use if need be.nnFrom time to time I will pass by here.nnOther than that I hope they improve and be sustainable for climate change and have net zero and zero waste.

I like going to this library. It’s calm, clean and the staff are always there to answer questions and help.

So helpful and kind. Beautiful library, library staff went above and beyond to help me print a very important document.

We love to study there.

1. It lacks a decent amount of books that I would like to read.n2. It isn't connected to the big Berri Uqam library which would be nice due to the absence of the books I want to read.n3. It is mainly more of a children's library rather than a library for people expecting it to be more of an academic/scientific one. which isn't a problem in of itself but definitely something I dislikennThe people working there are generally pretty nice and it has a calm environment for reading/studying so that's a plus.
