Multnomah County Library - St. Johns

Very nice neighborhood library. Convenient and fast transfer of books from other Portland libraries. Very helpful staff. Pleasant place to check out books or use computers. I haven't even felt the need to replace my printer since the last time it broke; it's too easy to just go over to the library on the rare occasions when I need to print something on paper.

This is one of the smaller branches of the library system but the folks who work here are friendly and the atmosphere is always good. They host some great events and there children's section is well sized for their space.

The library is housed in a very cute, historic building across from a school. The staff are friendly and helpful. There are computers for internet use and range of media, including books, CDs, and movies. Portland public libraries are a critical resource and an invaluable social service.
