Multnomah County Library - Fairview Columbia

This library claims to be an institution that can facilitate proctored exams for a fee of $25. Yet when I called to location, staff members were completely bewildered with my request and referred to their emails and the finally there own website. The phone rep then puts me on hold. She then states that the staff responsible for this is on a vacation. She then states if I want more information to TRY calling back on Monday. Ridiculous! This library is also very loud at most times as it’s very small and the staff in the back have very loud conversations. They also have “Hispanic children reading time” in the library where children are reading and singing very loudly, WITHOUT THE DOOR CLOSED! If you want good customer service and silence in a library do not come here.

Only a 4 because of size. It is a small library, so we don't spend much time there as we do at others. It does have a nice staff and when it has events they are fun.

Great staff. Helpful. I have been going there 9 years now. Never a problem.!

Great little library, my kids love that there are interesting building toys in a little nook near the kids books

Its a nice quiet place but sometimes ruined by some noisy librarian that dont care about people that are reading trying to study. They tend to have loud conversation not work related that pisses me off.
