Muchas Gracias Mexican Food

I live right next to Muchas, so I go here all the time. I'm very confused about all the people saying it has "fast, reliable" service. I almost always order the same thing, there's rarely anyone else there, and my wait times still vary between 2-15 minutes. They charge $1.29 for what has proved to be an indiscernible amount of extra sauce. Today, I ordered my usual and, as usual, asked for no beans. Unexpectedly, my burrito was only 2/3 its normal size. Still a full meal, but I'm not as ungodly full as I wanted to be and feel like it wasn't as good a value. I also think the atrocity they call tamales needs a mention. By far my favorite Mexican food, the tamales here are a disgrace. The chicken was some sort of rubbery, cubed, thing. They were flavorless, and the outside was slimy. Will never order again. On a positive note, everything else I've had tastes decently good, the place is clean, the service is friendly, and it's a big step up from what used to be there.

Great value on fast Mexican food. Definitely more aligned with typical Mexican food than your other fast food Mexican/Tex-Mex. I particularly love their chorizo breakfast burrito. Sometimes the drive through is a little slow. Open 24 hours!

I had never been to a Muchas Gracias before this one opened close to my place. The idea of having a 24-hour Mexican food place nearby sounded great, but the exterior made me wonder if it was another sub-par fast food place like Taco Time. I've now been there several times, and it will be on my regular rotation going forward. I usually get a crispy chicken tacos, and they are flavorful with tender white-meat chicken. I tried the Oregon burrito at the recommendation of a friend, and it was also quite tasty. The first couple times I went in, I could tell it was a new location and some kinks were still getting worked out. However, it was nothing significant, maybe a few extra minutes of waiting. My takeout times are quick now, and my only drive-through experience on New Year's Eve/Day was the same. Cashiers have always been friendly. The seating inside consists of a bunch of basic 4-top tables with the standard fast food bench seating, no padding. Don't go here looking for fusion tacos or inventive dishes. They do relatively high-quality, basic Americanized Mexican food (the "chips with cheese" is literally chips with non-melted shredded cheese on top) for a low price. But if you're looking for a cheap lunch burrito or a late-night bite on the way home, you could do a lot worse.

Clean location. Very well lit on the interior. The food was served quickly and was very good. The bathrooms were clean as well. The employees were friendly, and the factors 24 hours is a huge plus. The drive-thru looked a little narrow, but that's really the only thing I could come up with as far as a complaint goes and it's a minor one at that. This is by far my favorite location in this franchise I have been to so far, and I have been to quite a few of them throughout the Willamette Valley and Vancouver.
