We absolutely LOVE Mucca. First class service, the best dining in Portland, quaint sweet location. Everything on the menu here is outstanding and prepared fresh right in front of you - especially if you’re lucky enough to book far ahead of time and request a spot sitting at the chefs table. They also have a full tasting menu. And an excellent wine menu. Would HIGHLY recommend the tortellini, the scallops, the steak and pork shoulder. They are open for dinner only. Highly recommend making a reservation!!

Had a gorgeous dinner at Mucca this evening. The restaurant had a great atmosphere - I would recommend booking as even at 1800 on a Monday it was busy. I had a seat at the Chefs Counter, which was great entertainment. I had the seared scallops antipasti and a wild mushroom and local black truffle pasta which was on the specials menu. All the food was delicious and beautifully presented. Thanks for a great dinner

Happy birthday to me! We dined here by coincidence and will return here on purpose! The dining experience from reservations to final bill was excellent. The food well prepared, pleasantly presented and delicious in every way! The service was amazing with every attention to detail! If you go… look for the scallops on the menu!

The place has really nice ambience, as well a very attentive service. Their appetisers were incredible: the octopus and steak tartar were nicely prepared and paired, one of the best beef tartars I have ever had with a great balance with the crunchiness elements added. Scallops were well seasoned and crispy, pasta was well al dente but a bit on the heavy side. Steak didn’t do it for me, I felt like it was dry and the berry sauces were in all directions. Would recommend it for a romantic dinner, not quite there for tasting type of place…

Absolutely amazing. I don’t like cheese but I didn’t know they have it on dishes and I ate them all! Every dish come slow and small, it’s exactly what I like so I don’t have to eat too much or I can always order more. And they are able to make dishes evenly shade so it’s nice to share with your friends. Definitely gonna come back.

Such a hidden gem! This restaurant has two floors and is super romantic. The night we were dining their service was excellent and every single dishes we had were deliciously outstanding! Highly recommended this place and be sure to make a reservation because seating is very limited. This place is on my going backlist!

A cozy place that is wonderful for celebrations. We started with a refreshing Aperol based cocktail. We also ordered a bottle of their featured wines. Their wine list had a great selection of Italian wines. We shared all of the dishes which was fun as I enjoy trying lots of different menu items. The prosciutto and burrata was delicious as well as gorgeous! The scallops were uniquely prepared with a Parmesan sauce and saffron flavored drops of another sauce. My favorite dish was the torteli with mushrooms! The sauce was exquisite. The chocolate desert was also delightful and went well with the birthday Amarone gelato! Our sever was wonderful and she was very attentive. I definitely am looking forward to trying their tasting menu.

Was here for a birthday dinner, had the tasting menu which was $100. This was criminally cheap for a tasting menu of this caliber. Sat by the chef's counter to see the action and even got a couple of extra bites from Sous Chef Yang. Monika, my server as well as the restaurant 's wine director recommended a wonderful crisp red wine from Tuscany for my meal.

Well it's that time of the year where it's my birthday and I wanted to go somewhere nice in Portland to celebrate my birthday! Made reservations to Mucca and it was my first time here. What a wonderful restaurant. Nice rustic ambiance. Very attentive servers and staff. They explained each dish and the items in each dish. All of the food items I ordered were really good and I didn't have any dishes that I thought was just blah. But what I loved the most was the simple appetizer of Tomatoes, pesto, and burrito cheese. Simple but very delicious.The Squid Ink pasta was amazing and delicious as well. Well portioned. Enough pasta and seafood mixed. Great reataurant and I will definitely be back!

I’d give it a 3.5/5. We did the tasting menu and did the drink pairing with it. Unfortunately we were disappointed with almost half of the courses and leaving with a $320 before tip bill makes you think about how good the food was. The pasta and scallops and dessert and all the wines were delicious. The other 3 tasters were only ok, including the main entree which was chewy steak with a weird pairing of raspberry and raw tomato. I’d say skip out on the tasting and just eat dinner there, because some of the food was delicious. For us the bill was not at all worth the dinner. Good staff, nice atmosphere.
