This place is very comfortable. I always get served as soon as I walk in the door and the bartender and or server is always back at the table before your drink is finished to see if you need something else. They're very friendly and they always remember their regulars

We went on a Friday night so the place was very busy. Service was still good, and the drinks were strong. Great atmosphere ... somewhere between a library and a church.

A cozy spot with a great staff. At least once per year I have the fortune of sitting in Mr. Toad's library on a snowy evening. Watching the passerbys as it snows is everything winter is supposed to be. I love it. The rest of the year, Mr. Toad is still my favorite downtown bar. The staff is solid and attentive. The drinks are good and the atmosphere, both inside and outside is great.

The servers are always prompt and courteous. If you walk in late to join a party that is already there, they will be right behind you to make sure you have your drink as soon as possible so you can catch up to the rest of the gang. They always remember their regulars which seems like a lost art these days.
