Oh no! I used to go here all the time. The old owner was great. They recently got a new owner. She is nice but some staff seems to not know exactly how to do there job. I walked in on Wednesday of this week and 3 guys were talking at the front door and the owner sitting at the front. It was middle of the day and she said they were closed. As I walked away I heard the guys talk something about contamination. I was curious what happened so I decided to check if Google reviews had anything interesting reported. Then I saw review from a month ago a few down from this one that was disturbing........ Wow. Not sure if the incident was related to the closure but I will not be going here anymore. A little too scary... Sorry

I feel bad writing this as the lady was very nice to me but I had a scary incident occur and feel the public should be warned. I stopped in to pick up a sub for my husband on the way home. While cutting the bread the lady seemed awkward and inexperienced and sliced into her finger and winced. There was no visible blood so I asked quickly if she's ok and as she took off her glove and squeezed her finger I quickly saw a lot of blood gushing up. She attempted to put a new glove on and continue making the sub but I insisted that she put a bandaid on and take care of her cut first. She was clearly flustered so I had to convince her a bit to forget about the sub and take care of her finger. I think her intention was to put the customer (me) first but seeing the blood made me feel uneasy. She asked me to put the bandaid on her finger and I did. Then she tried to make the sandwich and I had to request a new bread (just in case there was blood on it) which I don't think was too much to ask. Anyway, she was very sweet and made the sandwich, I paid and headed home. When I got home and told my husband the story he asked if she switched/washed the knife and I realized that I hadn't seen her do that and I didn't request her to the way I had requested everything else so I felt really awful. Unsurprisingly my husband lost his appetite and I threw the sub out and went and got him a new dinner. My reason for sharing this experience is because while she was nice to me and I felt bad for what happened... the onus is on her to use sanitary practices no matter what the circumstances. I had to convince her to be sanitary and even after all that I still forgot to monitor whether she cleaned the knife or not - I'm 90% sure she did not. If you do go here please be cautious and watchful for sanitary reasons.

Just went on a Saturday night, July 29 at 630 pm Closed Something must have happened, to be closed at this time is unusual. Didn't look in the window to see if they were actually closed permanently, but ai would suspect it.
