Service was excellent, waitress kept our drinks refilled quickly. They have a kids menu and he enjoyed all the board games available to play. Food was good, portion size was regular, steak was a bit chewy, steak sandwich should be a bit bigger.
The staff seemed to be doing a good job, our server was tentative and asked how thing were more than once. My wife said it was good, but it really wasn't. The portions were definitely on the small side her grilled chicken didn't have much flavour and if it wasn't for sautéed onions and red pepper she probably would of complained. My steak was the most tasteless 7oz New York I have ever had and I don't think if I sent it back they could of done better. Both of our Garlic Mash Potato's were not much on the garlic side of things and a pretty small scoops. The green beans were good and the sautéed mushroom I ordered as an extra were also good. Definitely on the expensive side for what you get, I know cost are going up for everything, but charging more and making the portions smaller is not the way to go. On another good note, the Yellow Dog craft beer was good and so was the Kim Crawford wine$$$ and like I said the customer service was very good. Will I go again, yes. I will give them another chance, but I'll wait awhile as I think they maybe transitioning from the difficulties they endured during Covid restrictions.
Came here after a really long time. The 9pm happy hour is the best bang for buck for appies and drinks. Even though our server was pretty new and was still learning we got great service from him. I wasn't expecting too much from the New York Steak I ordered but it turned out to be really good and was cooked perfectly and evenly throughout. Overall, it's a real quiet place and is great for family dinners and just relaxing and hanging out.
The food was really good, atmosphere was good. Now, my waiter was the literal best. I just want to give a huge shout out to Wayne! Dude made the whole experience awesome. I went with my date and he brought us connect 4! We were having so much fun we almost didn't want to leave. He checked in on us exactly when we need him. This man deserves a raise, for outstanding customer service. I will highly recommend people come here for the wonderful atmosphere and delicious food!
The food was just okay. Portions are moderate. Service was good, but the wait time to get the food was over an hour. It was almost impossible to get ahold of the waitress.Food: 3/5
I keep coming back for their Bruschetta. Delicious in every way and decent price. Their other food, like chicken tenders, hot wings, and fries are all great as well. I've had steaks here before and it was decent, but not worth the expense in my opinion. Even though it's a busy area, this location seems to be relatively quiet.
Our first time to the Langley location…Went for my birthday, had Wayne take care of us. My family and I enjoyed ourselves so much! The menu had so many options, our food was delicious , the beer and Caesar I had were exactly what my taste buds called for …but I have to say hands down, Wayne made our experience so memorable!! Thank you Wayne I called and spoke to your manager as well cause you deserve the kudos
Food is good. Our server was great! The only thing minus about the place for me was the plate that our food was on. It was this rectangular tiny plate with ridges on the bottom. I had a hard time cutting steak on it. Too much food packed onto the plate but otherwise, everything was great!!
A lot of restaurants did some major changes to survive covid and Mr. Mike's is an incredible example of how to do it right. The food is incredible and fresh tasting. There are live music and discount nights and the prices are fairly reasonable for the genre of restaurant they're successfully aiming to succeed in. I recommend the lodge chips if you get the chance.
