Moxie's Grill & Bar

Me and husband decided to go on an impromptu lunch date to moxies because I was craving the cashew chicken I had years ago in Toronto. The ambience was nice and the service was great. Tyler and the sous chef made the experience even better. All the food we ordered had great flavour and was made with love, we could tell. We had the lettuce wraps cashew chicken, the shrimp tacos and the Mahi Mahi for the main course. Loved everything about the restaurant:

Had the best experience. Service was amazing as always. Ashley was kind, attentive, and so fun to be around. The food was 10/10, presentation and taste. And atmosphere was perfect to have a drink and chat. We were giggly and that didn’t seem to bother any of the staff, they came over and laughed with us. 10/10 experience overall.

We got the vegan mushroom zen bowl and the vegan black bean tacos. Would have been nice if there was an extra dish of guacamole or salsa because it was a lot of chips but little guacamole. The black beans tacos were better than the mushroom zen bowl as the tacos were more flavourful.nnThe portions are pretty small for the price you pay. The black bean tacos was just 3 tacos plus a ton of chips.nnGood place for vegan options but small portions and on the pricy side.nnUnfortunately no vegan dessert either - would be nice if they had just one.nnService was good but a bit slow.

Have only dined here a few times but it's always been good. Friendly service, good food.nnOnly negative is that i find the lighting too dark but that's a lot of places these days, especially this type of restaurant.nnIt was lunch time so I'd like it a little brighter.nnI had the tuna poke bowl and it was delicious.

One of my favorite restaurants of all time. Always great service and delicious food!!nI highly recommend it.
