The people at Mountain Bay Dental are friendly and helpful and I thought they were a great place. Front desk lady very friendly very nice. I went to Mountain Bay Dental to have a broken rotten tooth removed. I told the first lady that checked me in that I had trouble with being numbed before and she did not relay the message to the dentist and when he entered the room and tried pressing on the tooth and it was extremely painful he asked me if I had trouble in the past being numbed out and I told him yes I have had trouble being numbed out before he lectured me on how I should have told them that and I said I did. After them trying to remove it once I went back 2 separate times and they were unsuccessful at numbing me out after them injecting the Novocaine into what felt like my jaw bone I could literally feel the needle on my jaw bone they left the room and took forever to come back in which I feel is why the novocaine was not as effective as it could be. I also explained to them how I have very high anxiety and no one told me that the novocaine was going to make my heart race so after they gave the novocaine and left the room already having super high anxiety I felt like I was having a heart attack and there was no one there around to talk to so I paced back and forth until someone came back . That's when they informed me that the novocaine would increase my heart rate and I told them it's nice I would have liked to have known that when I told you guys I already feel like my heart is beating out of my chest . Everytime after they tried to numb it as soon as he would touch the tooth it was excruciating pain they said I would need to see an oral surgeon. To top it off when he was drilling out my cavities to fill the two on the same side as the tooth a needed to pulled it was excruciatingly painful I could feel them Drilling it out it was one of the worst experiences of my . The dentist did not do much to make me feel comfortable and in fact I felt as if he was rushing to be done as soon as possible and seemed impatient which made me uneasy. They were very helpful with sending the referral out to Marshfield Clinic but the problem with the Marshfield Clinic is that my insurance did not cover the oral surgeon there so I was left hopeless thinking that I would just have this tooth for the rest of my life or die from the pain. Had a cleaning done and my teeth are still hurting from what the other dentist said was over scraping. To top it off my cousin also went there I was with her she had some fillings done and in a couple of days after getting them she was suffering some pretty excruciating pain her fiance took her to Quirt Dental they said that her teeth were inflamed because they did not file one of the fillings. I would never recommend them to anyone
