Moulin in the Park

This is worst “bistro” in Ottawa. Unorganized, unprofessional, and lacks management and no customer service anywhere in sight. Their tables are dirty, they don’t clean or clear tables, and leave food and drinks on the tables where bees swarm the place. The iced cappuccino and cheesecake were not brought to my table, I had to go and inquire about my order 20 minutes later! The iced cappuccino had become liquid and when they brought a new one, it was disgusting… milk with three melted ice cubes and almost no coffee. When I was handed my cheesecake they did not have the common sense to provide a fork which when I asked for was handed to me without any regard for the hygiene required as per culinary etiquette. Very disappointing in every way. I do not recommend it at all. Ruined my afternoon.

Food is over priced.shade is lacking staff is slow and when we got our sandwiches the contents were wer lacking. Ex. My wife's BLT was one slice of tomato one slice of bacon and 4 Leafs of spinach. Very disappointing and not worth 60$ for two sandwichs and drinks

Unfortunately, this visit was not the best experience I've had at Moulin in the Park. It was overpriced certainly for what you get. The pressed sandwiches are over $15 and are fairly lean on ingredients. In this instance, the BLT pressed sandwich I ordered had 1 slice of tomato and one sliced of bacon, with a smattering of spinach. I had it remade and it came back with a large glob of bacon grease on more slice of tomato. The staff are polite and were happy to remake the sandwich. The iced latte was quite expensive at over $7.00 for 12oz. Unfortunately the food is underwhelming and overpriced. Perhaps a result of post-pandemic price increases.

Stopped in to grab a quick snack while waiting for an appointment and was beyond impressed! The coffee was so delicious and the food was divine. I ordered the waffle pressed BLT with a greek salad and my taste buds were in heaven who knew such a simple meal could be so fancy! The ambiance was perfect with the sound of the nearby fountain, the lush flowers and the gentle music coming from their sound system. I highly recommend this place.

Do not take card payments, failed to get my order correct but charged me the additional for non dairy!, & No longer accept their own branded loyalty cards by stating that they had never seen one before?! Awful customer service & dreadful coffee!!

Tasty loaded vegan grilled sandwich not on menu, but staff were willing to customize it and good sides at a decent price.

I had the vegetable panini and found it okay. Not great but not bad.
