Motel 6 Tumwater - Olympia

Everyone has been wonderful. The staff is top notch! I would recommend this Motel 6 to anyone and everyone! Had to stay for well over a month, everyone made sure we were comfortable and happy. Couldn't have asked for better staff during our transition. Thank All of you for making this easier on my family!

Outstanding! Stayed at Motel 6 Olympia-Tumwater for several days and had a very positive experience. The room was kept neat, clean and tidy. The entire staff, management, front desk, housekeeping and maintenance were all helpful and friendly. They were so nice with my dog, too! No issues. I felt comfortable being there. Thank you!

A very friendly staff greeted me promptly. I had made a request for a specific room when I made a reservation and the staff made extra effort to accommodate my request. I have stayed at this M6 two times previous to this visit. The friendly staff plus a clean and comfortable room is why I came back. I will likely be staying at this M6 a few more times this year. The staff ask more than once if everything was OK with my room and I believe it was a sincere question. Very easy access from the freeway and lots of great parking. This M6 is also central to lots of places to eat. I really like the friendly staff that is easy to talk to and want to make my stay pleasant.

I have stayed at the Tumwater location multiple times and I have always had a great experience. However, this last stay was ok I suppose. I was told that I couldn't have any guests past 10pm... I am an adult and should not be told who can visit with me and what hours. I just got in town, it was past 10 and had friends with me who drove hours just to spend time with me & I am to send them on their way... I don't think so.... Then I asked for 2 keys and was told that I couldn't have 2 because it costs the motel too much money. Well I beg to differ, I know the cost of an entire box of keys cost because I have worked in the hospitality industry for years.... They don't cost enough to lose a frequent guest... When I got to my room it was a non Smoking room that smelled like someone had been smoking in there and the shower was not clean. There was hair and soap scum all over. I don't know who is running that place or why I was told that I can't do this and that, but I am not going to be returning. Next time I come to town I will be staying elsewhere. I will happily pay extra just so I don't have to be treated like a child and feel like I am not welcome or a criminal. For a dirty room. Not worth the headache.

Affordable and cozy and clean does not include WiFi and there plans they offer are not great. Plus If you want a microwave and mini fridge it's a 3 dollars up charge Update Very comfortable bed in my opinion also nice hot water for the shower and I liked that u could change the setting on the shower head. Friendly staff too I originally gave it a 3-star but I'm going to go ahead and change it to a four star
