The Governor, a Coast Hotel

It is not the best hotel ever as far as the look and the level of fanciness. But it is clean and they have a very nice, polite, kind and caring staff. Their breakfast (eggs, fruits, pancake, jam, butter and etc) is not my taste but overall is good. The fan and heater system of the rooms are pretty old and noisy but works very well. You can have a very warm and cozy room if you wish in no time. Also if your staying in Governor Hotel in Olympia, I recommend getting a room in higher levels in order to have a view of the Capitol. Hope you enjoy your stay.

The water in shower would go from cold to scalding. Room temperature was too hot. Even if you selected cool on fan it would blow hot. The location is good. And great views. Breakfast was not good.

The rooms were very clean and organized. The bed was very soft and comfort. But the walls were thin and you can hear everyone around you. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The location is nice. I was sad they didn't have a pool. The elevator did take a little awhile.

The Governor had a very friendly and accommodating team at the front desk and restaurant that made us feel welcome and cared for. We have been here several times and this visit was the best. The rooms are in good shape despite the age of the hotel.

Clean room. Huge problems with heating and cooling system in room. Despite turning fan on, it kept blowing heat. Person at desk stated that I should open window (ugh, smell from parking lot and alleys) and turn off the fan. Need update on appliances like having the side table lamps have outlets. Furniture like the chair to the desk and room could also use some updating. Nice friendly staff. Soft bed.
