Motel 6 Grants Pass

Pretty gross hotel. Only stayed here for a night just to get some sleep as I was traveling down to California. Wouldn't stay here for more than a night. Very cheap though. Beds are not comfortable and I would ask for more pillows. Ask for shampoo too. In and out is close by though!

Lost my wallet a little while before but this place was nice enough to let me work with my VA ID even though it doesn't have a proper ID number or birthday on it and most places that I've been to won't even let me buy cigarettes with it, but even still the lady behind the desk here was nice enough to just use that and let me pay cash with a 10% discount still. And the rooms are quite nice or Motel 6 and well kept. Quiet suprisingly for an inner city motel 6

My rating is for the staff. Everyone was absolutely amazing. I had a rough stay starting with an interesting knock on the door at 2am followed by a really bad leak in the A/C unit next to the bathroom. They offered a new room right away but because I didn't want to wake up my kids in the middle of the night, I chose to wait. The staff moved us right away and were very apologetic about it. I know stuff happens and I wasn't too worried about it. I have always had a great experience at this location, even with the chaos that occurred, the staff was amazing and I would go again.

Out of all Grants Pass hotels, housekeeping is here is the most wonderful and dedicated to keeping rooms clean and stocked. Management is above par, and the entire staff truly strive to make the experience both enjoyable and personable. They deal with a lot of unruly guests, yet always greet you with a smile and genuinely seem to care about every individual guest. Overall, service is prompt and friendly. Even as a resident of Grants Pass, this motel is a perfect example of small town community.

I want to mention the clerk, can't remember her name, but started with a T - Tara, Tressa, something like that. She did a GREAT job! When I got there, she had two people ahead of me and another 2 walked in after me. She got everyone taken care of in an amazingly short amount of time! She was exceptionally efficient and handled everything with a smile. I've stayed in a lot of hotels/motels and I've got to say that you have a jewel in that lady. She made the check in easy and quick. I later went in to ask for an extra pillow. She handed a clean pillow over immediately. The only negative thing was that there was no shampoo in the room, but that was minor.
