Motel 6 Ellensburg

I called before arriving to see if I had reserved a room with an in-room fridge. When the front desk clerk answered she was very polite but told me some rooms have kitchenettes but that they were full for the night. I told her I understood, however I had reservations and wanted to check if my room was one with a kitchen. She then put me on hold for more than 6 minutes. I hung up and called back and got a gentleman who was able to look up my reservation and told me I did not have a room with a kitchenette reserved (even though I thought I had) and I proceeded to plan accordingly. Once I arrived, about an hour later, I was informed I did have a deluxe room with a kitchenette, which made my earlier plans unnecessary. Since I have a medical condition that requires I have access to a fridge, it is why I called prior to arriving to verify. Definitely, more customer service training needed. However, at check-in and check out, all front desk clerks were very nice and pleasant to work with. The rooms have been obviously recently remodeled, but the floor had been taped down in parts. Beds were extremely uncomfortable, but I've found that's very normal for Motel 6. I just always seem to forget and book there anyway! Price was affordable for amenities, although it was strange to have to ask for toiletries, such as shampoo and conditioner since they aren't offered in-room automatically anymore.

We always enjoy staying at Motel 6 and I have recently signed up for their App. This Motel 6 has definitely seen some upgrades. The linoleum floors really make a difference in cleanliness. Very basic hotel with standard accommodations but bedding sheets were very clean and price was right. Couple items to improve would be the bed covers and the extra blanket. The bed covers have some stains which is such a huge turn off to guests. I rented two rooms and both rooms had stained bed covers. Additionally, the extra blanket I requested from the office smelled like cigarette smoke. Not sure if that is from the people that run the place or from where they store their bedding. Young lady that checked us in that night was great! College age, blue hair, very sweet, smart, and informative. We will be back! Thanks!

Good service, could use a bit more attention to cleaning the floors and bed spreads, nothing bad tho. We were looking for a cheap room to just get a quick sleep and a shower and this was fine. Been there before and I will go back. Love that the sink/mirror are outside the shower so two can get ready for early meetings at the same time.

Stayed here SEVERAL times over the last 6 months. The rooms are clean and I never have any issues. Water pressure is pretty good in the showers. Front desk is always super nice and helpful. I have a dog and they always try to accommodate by placing me close to the pet area.

Great, spacious rooms, the dual bed room has beds that still fit 2 people. So if you cant get one with queen bed the dual bed works too. Quiet location besides the train that passes through Ellensburg.
