Holiday Inn Express Ellensburg

The rooms are nice - look and smell clean. Plus, they have good amenities inside - fridge, microwave, Keurig machine, iron. Staff are friendly and helpful, especially the gentleman working the desk at night. View from our room was nice as there was a little creek and some greenery. Blinds work great at blocking out the sunlight, if you needed a dark setting to sleep. Breakfast is good - lots of options and looks/tastes fresh. They are doing some updating it seems, so parts of the hotel look new and modern, while other parts look a little dingy and in need of work. Couple big complaints though: there is no fan in the bathroom, and all the systems are connected. I don't know if that's the reason I could hear other people showering when in the bathroom. Also the guest bathrooms downstairs were kept in very poor condition. When I went in the first night, there was no toilet paper and people were clearly using Kleenex. When I went in the next morning, there was still no toilet paper, the floor was trashed, and the garbage was full to the brim. All in all, a nice stay in Ellensburg with only a few issues.

Despite having issues with check-in (room wasn't ready at 3 on check-in date, but it was due to sudden lack of staff--I think 4 housekeepers had called in sick that day), our stay was great and uneventful. The renovated rooms are nice and the bathroom lighting is spectacular. The furniture in the room is modern with a classic touch and makes it seem like this is a luxury hotel. Thank you for a great stay!

These hotels are upgrading and remodeling and they are great! Good healthy breakfast choices, hot and cold, a workout room and pool. VERY HAPPY WITH THE MANY OF THEM I HAVE STAYED AT. :)

I'd definitely go back! It looks as though it was remodeled recently to a urban modern style within the rooms. It was very well kept, clean, and staff are friendly.

Very clean. Great pool and Spa. Very good variety of breakfast. Including fresh fruits, hot and cold cereals, eggs and meat, and yogurts.
