Canyon River Ranch

I am currently here now with a group called" reel recovery"... Which is an organization that helps men cope with being diagnosed with cancer. Kudos to the whole organization. Canyon river ranch is hosting the event. The food is amazing,staff is friendly and attentive, atmosphere is relaxing as well as beautiful. Can't say enough good things about Canyon River Ranch. The food quality was a nice surprise in this out of the way location. We had the salmon, the prime rib, Caesar salad and tomato bisque soup. All well prepared.

Stopped by for lunch during a winter storm when the pass' were all closed, excellent food and service. Will definitely be back to eat again and try out the accomodations and stay a night!

NOISY, unable to sleep with no noise curfew enforced, staff did not seem to care that there were parties going on past midnight every night. For that cost, it should be more enjoyable for everyone. It's a shame, as it is a nice location you would think would be peaceful. Food service was very slow and waiting lines common in the restaurant. Drop-in's (non-guests) seemed to take priority for both seating and service if they were friends of the staff. Overall pretty poor experience, I would not go back. We spoke with the manager about it afterwards and he was not friendly or apologetic and made no attempt to make it right. RE: more recent reviews, seems the owner's friends don't play nice either, or spell with great accuracy. 5 stars for having nice scenery, without experiencing an overnight stay, as helpful as a hernia....

Just stopped in to check this place out. It looks fantastic. Friendly staff, beautiful scenery. Looking forward to going for a full stay soon.
