I was not very impressed with this Spa after going yesterday. I knew that it was a home spa so my expectations were not that I would be in a resort, but the space that is used for this is not even very clean. While being massaged, I was left looking at a dirty floor (the baseboards are crusted with dust). The massage was alright on my back, although I asked for more pressure and it didn't last. She asked if she could use essential oils for the massage and I agreed, except she proceeded to use them in my hair and on my face as well. I was not provided with a wash cloth or wet cloth of any sort after, so during the manicure and pedicure I was literally slipping off the chair (and who likes having a greasy face and hair!?). She massaged one of my feet, and on the other seemed to pause, so I peaked and saw that she was on her phone. I also noticed that her shirt kept riding up, exposing her midriff, which I didn't find very professional. For the manicure and pedicure, I didn't find that there were many options for nail polish; I mean, you can buy OPI brand polish at the dollar store now so there's no excuse to not have a solid lineup of colours. My manicure has clear layers where she missed spots on the sides of my nails and I haven't paid any attention to my pedicure...

All in all it is clear that there was effort put into starting this business, but it is still very much a start-up. There was nice music, some flowers and fake candles for ambiance, and the oils did smell nice. Unfortunately the entire experience was nowhere near as relaxing as I had hoped and by the end of my 120 minutes of treatments I was glad to get out. I hope that with time she manages to fix the place up; I do think it has potential.

Excellent experience, facilities were very clean and welcoming, and service did not feel rushed at all. Definitely recommend this!
