Mooyah

We just went to Mooyah to give it a try because I thought let's try one we've never heard of. It is a chain though from the US & this is definitely a franchise store as so many things were in disrepair & dirty; dirty washroom, pop machine not working & the lights were turned off! We paid $28 for the 2 little burgers you see in the pictures. As you can see the vegies they give you I ask for mine on the side are pitiful to say the least about 1oz or less each. Any other burger chain is better Wendy's, A&W & Triple O's. I can get 2 large patties at Wendy's for under $4 & about 4 times the amount of veggies for free! Or at A&W for $6-8 Do yourself a favour a don't try it or you'll regret it! I don't know how they still have a 4.1 or even still in business! So much more to say but that's enough. It's a hard no!

We stop at Mooyah for lunch as everyone was hungry. The place was fairly dirty. They had broken machinery. And only one bathroom available which had no toilet paper! The service was super slow! The prices seemed reasonable, but ended up costing $80 somehow and definitely not worth it for a "Fast Food Joint." The food did taste good. Minus the very pathetic Milkshakes. Which is what drew us to the place in the first place! Also the ladies were quite pleasant to deal with. But mind baffling to us that there was only two of them AND the place was clearly not busy and yet it was such a pigsty! So we give the food 5/5 Service of the ladies 5/5 Speed of the service 2/5 Cleanliness 0/5 All in all will give a rating of 3 out of 5. Don't think we will be going back anytime soon.

Excellent burgers and shake. Chicken tenders decent. Understaffed so took a while but everything was made well and correctly. Most bathrooms out of order and remaining bathrooms had no toilet paper. Liked the build your own options for burgers, as well as the size options. Fairly easy to get to off of highway. Generally clean and good seating. Parking: Decent parking available, wasn't very full on weekend.

Will not ever go back. Broken drink machine. Broken Bathroom. Took way too long for two burgers , one order of fries and three shakes. Burgers were almost finished before drinks came out. Ordered large fries, not a lot in that order. I would hate to see the small size. Burger was alright, nothing that would be missed.

This place was quite disgusting. The burger bun was the only thing visible as the patty, garnish and dressing were so small that the top and bottom of the bun touched, hiding the dismal contents. I actually opened it up to make sure there was even anything inside. I was shocked that they would serve this. The presentation of the meal was the burger thrown on top of a piece of paper on a tray. This burger on it's own was over $9. In hindsight I should have refused this burger and requested a refund. Then there was the issue of the bathrooms. There were three bathrooms and two were out of order. The third bathroom was filthy, had no soap or paper towel. Had I seen the condition of the washroom prior to ordering I would have never even ordered. Consumers beware!

So, we came to this burger place because we had an event near by. It was not very clean, the women's washroom was out of order so I had to use the men's which was gross. The floors in the restroom were black and sticky with grease and who knows what. As well, it clearly had not been properly cleaned in sometime. The pop dispenser was out of order. There were chairs stacked on a booth and on another table there was a box of rolled recipes or something. Generally not that clean. The burger I had was okay but definitely not value for money spent. Also, there were a no lights on in the dining room. Weird. Sorry, but Mooya was Booya.

The restaurant itself wasn't good. The siding was coming off the seating divider, 2 of the 3 washrooms were closed. Pop machine still broken, seen reviews from months ago and seems its been broken since. The remaining one was dirty, crowded and had no paper towel. We ordered 3 burgers, it took around 15-20 minutes to get the food. The food was okay but not for the high price.

Overall, the food wasn't bad but really I don't think I can give it a higher rating. To start: The poutine was not great. Glad they used cheese curds, but pretty sure it's the canned "poutine sauce" and not gravy. Add on either way the sauce/gravy was over-cooked. Fries would have been good on their own though. The burgers patties had a nice crust to them, but overall were lacking flavour. There was a ton of options for cheeses, sauces and toppings that could mask the Burger's lack luster but really the burger should be the main attraction. The shakes were really good, can't say anything bad about it at all. In the end though, I think there is a lack of value for the total price of the meal, and you'd be better off going cheaper and getting the same quality of going elsewhere.

Burgers taste great, and good selection of music. Not loud at all. There small fries are huge not shy with serving size. Their gravy is pretty good. I will be back for sure. I had a raspberry shake it was awesome!!

Incredible customer service. Cashier's were helpful in helping with the menu. Fast to get out meals. Chef came around when it was quite to ask everyone how their meals were tasting. Great selection of fresh ingredient to choose from to top your burger. Resturant was very clean
