Had the best experience here! This science centre has 2 floors. First floor has a banquet area, kids under 7 play area, cafeteria, and lockers to store your stuff.nnSecond floor is where all the fun happens…although this is more enjoyable for kids over 8, but these areas are still entertaining for the little kids.nnRestrooms are clean and nursing area is very nice. Staff are very nice and helpful.nnI highly recommend visiting this science centre!
Came with my almost 2 year old toddler. He had a lot of fun running around at Mini Mondo on the first floor and the second floor exhibits. There is a nursing/pumping room that has a sink, microwave, changing table, 2 big chairs, and one kid sized chair. There is space for a stroller in there. There's a family bathroom next to it. Both rooms are decorated with fun facts.nnIf you're a tourist: If you are a member of another science museum, see if they offer reciprocal membership with this museum! Hall of Science in NYC is part of this program so we were able to get in for free!
Incredibly awesome! So much to explore and so little time. I wish I could stay and sleep here forever. There are so many exhibitions you must see. Get your sneakers or tennis shoes; there's a lot of walking, but so many fun exercises! Waiting in the queues isn't that bad, just in case. You never know if there will be long lines, especially this weekend. Oh, and I love the friendly staff!
Highly recommended! There are paid lockers at the entrance. The line to buy tickets is fast. Friendly staff. There is a mini condo area for babies and toddlers. The rest of the exhibits are brand new or at least in excellent good shape. There is plenty of hands-on. There are picnic tables available, so you bring lunch and snacks.
Infant to now 3, our boy loves exploring the exhibits at this museum. On the way floor, mini mondo is a great area for free play and exploration, especially at three while he’s really trying to explore and test the world. The current temp exhibit food/banquet had some interactivity for little kids but is mostly geared towards an older kid. But upstairs! The “labs” upstairs give kids of all ages an idea to touch and experiment all while being able to observe basic concepts of physics and the sciences. Oh, and the water play is always a hit.
