Hydro-Québec - Électrium

Highly educative and a free visit. Guided tour offered. The tour is relatively short but offer plenty of manipulations and experiences for kids and grown up.

Reasonably interesting place to spend 45 minutes. The museum is only open on guided tours which you sign up for on arrival.we were the only family on the English tour. Aimed at probably 8-12 year olds it was an interesting look at how electricity is generated and distributed. Not worth a long drive, but if you are local or passing through it is a good way to spend an hour.

Very interesting exhibit about electricity. It is free and a nice way to spend a couple of hours with kids.

Nous y sommes allés pendant la relâche scolaire. Belle exposition permanente, expériences intéressantes pour les enfants, explications du guide très claires. On pouvait aussi visiter la centrale de Baie James par casque video avec vision 3D Par contre, l'atelier avant la visite, qui était normalement pour les enfants de 10 ans et plus pendant la relâche, organisée par un partenaire externe Profaqua, était plutôt très facile et adaptée pour les 6 à 10 ans... Mais animatrice souriante et dynamique.
