Montana's BBQ & Bar

I have never done a review like this before... but tonight I feel the need to. Our family of 5 visited the South Albert location. This was the absolute worst dining experience we have had so far! The restaurant was only half full.. so not busy. Our waiter didn't re- fill a drink, brought the wrong food, food was cold, the pasta dishes didn't taste good at all.... when we mentioned that we weren't happy with something.. we got the over the shoulder response 'ok. Not once did someone ask how things were.. how we enjoyed our meal.. no comment when they took a full plate of pasta not touched. Waited and waited for our bill and we had a gift card to pay with.. the waiter assumed that he would be getting a $15 tip (the remaining amount of gift card). won't be going back for a while... to what was once our favourite restaurant.

Visited last night for supper, 4 adults 1 toddler. Very disappointed. Hostesses were making rude comments about guests they were seating and inefficient. Ordered a grilled cheese off of the kids menu for my 16 month-old and didn't give it to her - processed cheese and white bread slapped together- it was so unappetizing. I really expected more. The mashed potatoes were the highlight and that is not saying much. For being a 'family friendly' restaurant they offer minimal healthy choices for kiddos and minimal fresh options. Steak was average, our server could not say what was in the veggie burger when asked and no bowl to wash hands was provided for those that had ribs. I will not be returning anytime soon and will not encourage anyone to go here.

Good food. service is about average. If you are dining in make sure you ready to smell the musky order like if it has been flooded or something. Could have use some floor cleaning.

Terrible service ordered our children 2 chocolate milks. Our waitress forgot about us I had to go to another waitress 25 minutes afterwards to order them. We arrived at 615pm were seated at 630pm. Our waitress took our order at 645pm then we never seen our food till 800pm. It was cold felt like it had been sitting for awhile, waiting to be taken out..... We are not happy. We are not coming back ever again to the Regina location. Our waitresses name i cannot say her name but mine is visible here. Nice personality and terrible organizational skills. Friends of ours were seated on a different side 10 minutes after us and there family of 5 ate and left before we recieved our meal. We have a family of 4. Not impressed!! 630pm to 900pm to have a meal??? No discount was given.... I work hard for my money, but they give bad service and expect the whole amount. Ps thank you to the cooks. The food was good.

Normally I don't leave reviews for places, but this time I felt the need to make an exception based on my recent experience at Montana's. Our waitress seemed a bit inexperienced but hey, no worries there. She was a very nice person and did a great job (especially since my sister and I can be - how shall we say - boisterous and sarcastic! She was busy, but did everything asked of her so no problems there. The reason my review is so low is for what happened two minutes after we left. I asked for takeout containers and a bag and packaged up my leftovers to take home. Unfortunately I forgot them at the table as we were joking around as we were leaving (hadn't seen my sister for a few months). Upon realizing I had left my leftovers at the table (note: all packed up and ready to go) I ran back in to get them only to have the worker there (not the waitress we had previously) tell me rudely that she had already thrown them in the garbage. I mentioned to her that I had already packed them up to take home and had only been gone for two minutes to which she responded, "well they're in the garbage now". Poor attitude, poor people skills and turned a solid night into a poor outing at this particular location.
