This place is great. We ate there though it seems most people get take-out and really enjoyed it. Beautiful African dishes from a talented, passionate chef! The owner and staff are very friendly, caring and put a lot of love into the food. We had the beef kebab and the plantain starters, which were delicious! I had the goat main and my husband had the chicken tagine, both were so yummy. Lots of peanut and chili flavours that are so warming. We also bought lots of great products to give away hot sauce made in-house, ethically sourced teas, chocolate and spices.

So good!! They had so many vegan options and they were all so delicious! The man working was so kind and helpful and the dishes were also presented so beautifully! Definitely recommend this place and I can’t wait to go back.

This place is warm, welcoming and serves delicious food for eat in or take out and carries lots of interesting and hard to find goodies and ingredients from different parts of Africa for sale. I got all the vegetarian dishes and sides, which included ingredients and flavours I’ve never tried before or seen being offered anywhere in Montreal. The staff member who served me was so sweet and informative and filled my containers with the takeout food I ordered but I didn't have enough on me so the rest went into the compostable ones    next time I’ll come more prepared

What a surprising hidden gem. We passed by and it smelled really good so we popped in for lunch. Every single morsel was divine. The presentation, the balance of flavours, sweet, sour, spicy, salty... And the sauces, OH! THE SAUCES! It was all absolutely perfect. Insanely delicious  We can't wait to come back to try the rest of the menu!

Lovely introduction to African cuisine. We ordered the plantains, the goat, the chicken and mushroom dishes. The food is well spiced and the peanut sauce is to die for. The hibiscus drink is refreshing but the ginger juice is too strong for my palate.

I had an incredible meal here! The staff are very kind people and the service was 10/10. All the dishes were very unique to me and extremely tasty. Will be back ASAP!!

Amazing, delicious food with excellent service and presentation. They also sell a curated selection of goods to buy which are perfect gifts. Now part of my must-go recommendations in MTL!

Such tasty food. Had beef skewers w/ salad and Cornish hen with tamarind sauce. Both amazing. It's obvious a lot of thought and passion has been put into this business. Great service and presentation too. Chef and host were very nice.Food: 5/5

It's been a week since I ate here and I'm still processing how amazing the food was.  The Cornish hen and the goat were so well-prepared and full of flavour.   Food this high-end really deserves to cherished - I do wish there was BYO option as I'd love to celebrate so many moments at this place.

The food was delicious. The decoration was beautiful. Loved it
